The Bachelor 16: Who Will Make the Final 7?
by Janie Holtz
The more things change, the more things stay the same on The Bachelor, and this season’s cast is doing a bang-up job of playing their respective roles: the sweetheart, the bipolar temptress, the reformed hooker (see Blakely, right), the over-analyzer, the good girl, the deaf mute, and the disposable “just a matter of time” girls. As things turn serious, only the starring players stand a chance of winning and the time is coming for Ben to weed out the extras. So where does your favorite fall in the mix? It’s time to rank the ladies.
Project Runway All-Stars, Episode 5: Street Fashion
by Betsy Wasser
If this man walked up to you on the street and asked you to take off your clothes and give them to him, would you? This week on Project Runway All-Stars, the designers find muses in ordinary people in Central Park, convince them to part with their clothes, and remake them into something fabulous. Will Michael continue his winning streak, or will Mondo’s street style reign supreme?
American Idol 11, February 2: Missouri Loves Company
by Jenn Brasler
The American Idol audition rounds are finally coming to an end, but first we have to make a stop in St. Louis. You’ll wish we didn’t. Even the supposedly touching personal stories in this episode fall flat. Are there any stars in Missouri, or does everyone bring misery?
Face Off 2, Episode 4: Don't Be Riddikulus
by Jeffrey Clinard
Fear is the watchword this week, as the artists are tasked with creating horror villains based on various phobias. Which artists can turn fear into a creature worthy of a Harry Potter boggart come to life? Which artists create creatures that look like the Riddikulus defense spell has been used on it? And which artist is called the “MacGyver” of makeup?
American Idol 11, February 1: Born This Way
by Jenn Brasler
Some people have to work hard to perfect their talent. Some people are just born with it. In Portland, American Idol finds singers who need some polishing and singers who are already shining like diamonds. Which is Jermaine Jones (right)?
The Biggest Loser 13, Episode 5: Seeing Aqua
by Ryan Mehaffey
The Aqua team could make it onto the ranch this week. All that stands in their way is a measly 50 pounds. That won’t stop them, right? But we’ve got other questions to answer. Why are their medicine balls on the beach? Which team is doing FRAN this week? What could Conda use to improve her attitude? Recapper Ryan’s suggested response to the last question is shown at the right and the other answers are inside!
The Bachelor 16, Episode 5: Girls You Marry vs. Girls You Date
by Janie Holtz
Bachelor Ben and his remaining ladies are headed to Vieques Island, Puerto Rico this week on The Bachelor. Two lucky ladies score one-on-one dates, but do they return with a rose? And on the group outing, the ladies are pitted against each other in a game of ball that has four ladies crying “foul” (or just crying) from the sidelines while the other five ladies and Ben enjoy a romantic beachside after-party. It’s all fun and games until one temptress steals Ben away for a dip in the ocean – no suits required – and the group of eleven potential brides becomes nine...
Kitchen Nightmares, Season 5, Episode 12: Restaurants Revisited #8
by William Ingram
This week, we revisit four of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares conquests from last season to see whether the changes he made have lasted and whether those restaurants are even open. Join William to see what’s still hot and what’s not.
Project Runway All-Stars, Episode 4: Beat the Clock
by Betsy Wasser
These designers are all-stars, right? So now is the time to truly challenge them with the fastest challenge in Project Runway history. They’ll have less than six hours to design and execute a dress inspired by a gelato flavor. Can Mondo pull out his first All-Stars win?
American Idol 11, January 26: You Are Cleared for Liftoff
by Jenn Brasler
There are many problems when American Idol visits Houston, but also a handful of potential stars. If only we were allowed to see more of them. Baylie Brown (right) auditioned five years ago, but her young age may have put her at a disadvantage. Can she hold it together this time?
The Bachelor 16: Who Will Make the Final 9?
by Janie Holtz
Bachelor Ben and the ladies continued their literal journey to find love in beautiful Park City, Utah, this week and Ben planned some “outdoorsy” dates to test the ladies’ ability to commune with nature. While some of the women took advantage of their time with Ben (see Nicki, right), others have lost sight of the end goal and may as well pack their bags now (see Emily, not pictured!). How does your favorite bachelorette stack up next to her competitors? Check out Janie’s weekly predictions and find out.
The Amazing Race 20 Preview: You’re On the Wrong Show
by Jenn Brasler
You’ve probably already heard about two of the racers on the new season of The Amazing Race. (If you haven’t, think of the last two Big Brother contestants you would want to see in the race. That’s them.) But there are a few other racers who seem to have stumbled onto the wrong show as well. Meet them – and all the rest of the contestants for this upcoming season – here.
American Idol 11, January 25: Rocky Mountain Highs
by Jenn Brasler
American Idol heads north to check out the singers in Aspen, Colorado. Some will probably blame their bad auditions on the altitude. Who’s surprisingly good? Who’s unsurprisingly awful? And what’s up with the guy pictured at right?
Face Off 2, Episode 3: Cover Up!
by Jeffrey Clinard
Second seasons of reality TV shows often repeat the best challenges from their first season, and Face Off is no exception. The artists are body painting naked models, this time to create a cover for Asher Roth's (right) upcoming album Is This Too Orange? Which teams come up with strong concepts and which teams are told their body painting isn't good enough to merit a face painting booth at a county fair? The great (and not so great) cover-ups are all exposed here!
The Bachelor 16, Episode 4: Hook, Line, and Sink-Her
by Janie Holtz
Bachelor Ben and his harem are once again on the move – this time to Park City, Utah. Which ladies score one-on-one dates in Park City and which end up on the group outing? Who scores a date rose and who doesn’t? Heck, who doesn’t even get a date? Finally, which of our ladies will accompany Ben to the next destination on his journey to find love and who is headed home instead? And where does Courtney (right) fall in the mix? That’s a lot of questions! Good thing recapper Janie has all the answers.
The Biggest Loser 13, Episode 4: "Dolvett Is Pushing My Buttons!"
by Ryan Mehaffey
It’s an hour-long show this week, so surely this means that nothing big will happen, right? Wrong! Which two people threaten to quit? Why can we hear a producer talking? Is Santa a sore winner? Why is the Black team crawling through mud? What’s made Conda (right) start whining this time?! Ryan has your answers inside.

American Idol 11, January 22: Plane Crazy
by Jenn Brasler
We’re midway through the audition episodes! Ha ha – yeah, right. We’re actually on the U.S.S. Midway for auditions in San Diego. If you’re looking for oddballs, you’ll find them here. Fortunately, there’s also talent and lots of potential. Who is the possible Idol at right – or, more specifically, who is her very famous father?
Kitchen Nightmares, Season 5, Episode 11: El Greco
by William Ingram
This week on Kitchen Nightmares, we watch a brilliant performance of a true-life Greek tragedy. Ramsay visits an authentic Greek restaurant and finds that the owner and her son are in constant battle over a variety of topics. And even though the arguments are hot and spicy, the food is not, which is keeping the customers away. Can Gordon Ramsay fix everything or will the restaurant, like Greece itself, go belly-up? If it’s all Greek to you, join William for his recap and he’ll translate it all for you.
The Bachelor 16: Who Will Make the Final 11?
by Janie Holtz
This week on The Bachelor, Ben and his ladies traveled to San Francisco, where things didn’t quite go according to plan. Brittney bowed out of the competition and Ben sent three ladies, instead of two, home at the rose ceremony. Among the departed was Shawntel, the funeral director from Brad’s second Bachelor season, who arrived late and left early. That leaves 13 ladies in the running to be Ben’s wife, but who will survive the next cut? It’s weekly prediction time…
