"The Judges and I Had a Lot of Mixed Communication" - An Interview with America's Next Top Model's JennipherPage 2View Printable version of this article RNO: Which of the girls that were eliminated before you did you miss the most? Jennipher: That would definitely be Leah. We bonded early on and became good friends, so I was pretty sad that she was eliminated early. We're moving to New York together after the show is over, so I'll get to see a lot more of her soon! RNO: Do you feel that it's fair to have a guest judge, since they only get to know you over the course of one shoot, yet still have a hand in your elimination? Jennipher: In a way, it's fair because they aren't trying to blame you for the same things every week and add a new perspective to things. In another way, I do think it's unfair because they have nothing to compare you to and have no idea if you are improving or not, so I guess it's a double edged sword. RNO: Thus far, in your opinion, which of the girls has had the most progress to date? Jennipher: That would be Norelle. I don't think anyone expected her to do as well as she is. Once the braces came off, she became a real contender, and it helped her with her self-esteem as well, which definitely helped her progress. RNO: It seemed like some of the other girls were beginning to become Divas. Do you think your personality changed during the show, or did you pretty much remain the same throughout the whole experience? Jennipher: I think it was just the whole 'being on TV' thing. Actually, I think I was more laid back than I normally am. You only got to see half of how crazy I can really be, so I guess only half my Diva came out. RNO: So, are you still going to try and make it in the modeling industry or is it time to move onto bigger and better things? Jennipher: Yup, I'm still going to do modeling. Like I said, I'm moving to New York after the show is over, and hopefully I'll meet with a few agencies and someone will sign me. Wish me luck! RNO: Had your final photo shoot not been done on roller skates, do you think you would have been able to pull off the poses and remain in the competition? Jennipher: Honestly, the roller skates had nothing to do with me being eliminated. In fact, I had that part down! Actually, Jay was telling me how well I was doing, and so was the photographer. Then, at the elimination ceremony, he said I was the roughest to work with. There was a lot of miscommunication between Jay, the photographer and I. RNO: Is there anything you would like to add, clear up or maybe inform us about that wasn't shown during the show? Jennipher: The only thing I want to say was that the judges thought I was taking the competition as a joke when I put ANTM on my butt. It was just a stunt to show them that I had some personality, and they took that as "I don't want to be here." Oh well though, that's life, and I'll still make it! RNO:Thanks, Jennipher!
