The Apprentice 2, Episode 10 Extras: No RegretsPage 2View Printable version of this article Maria, Andy, and Sandy head over to the offices of theknot.com and meet with a woman. She says that they got approval to send out the e-mail. Andy interviews, "Something smells rotten in Denmark." Did you read Hamlet at Harvard? Apparently not closely. He wonders if Maria is covering her tracks. If she is, he thinks that she should admit her mistake so they can recover from it. Sandy asks if they can send a second e-mail; the woman says that they can, but the brides might not get it before the salon. She repeats that they were given the go-ahead to send the e-mail. Sandy interviews that Maria was caught in a lie. I think it's very telling that everyone is willing to take the word of a complete stranger over Maria. Outside, Sandy tells Andy that Trump hates it when people aren't accountable. She doesn't think the team is working well together, and they need to. Fast forward to Mosaic's salon starting. Sandy has a good feeling and thinks that the salon looks like it's been there for ages. We see the line of customers outside. Wes tells a woman that he's been trying on a lot of dresses. Hee. Kelly announces that they've sold about 16 or 17 already. Andy pours water for the customers outside. Smart! Wes tells people that they'll get in soon and he knows how annoying it is for them to have to wait. They show the scene of Wes telling Andy that a girl needs to get inside and Andy ushering her right in. That scene made me like both of them a lot more. Inside, Wes asks a woman who's leaving empty-handed what she was looking for and didn't find. Also smart. Wes tells another woman that the dresses in the back are 20% lower than the others' already low prices; she says that it doesn't matter as long as she can find something she wants. Wes interviews that it was great to have Sandy there and mentions that Apex could hire someone to do the same thing she's doing. Next we see Mosaic at Graff's with Melania. They show the entire sequence from the episode. When they get back to the penthouse, Ivana is literally jumping around, excited to try on Maria's diamond ring. I think Ivana got the sugar and coffee Kelly was supposed to give to Sandy. Jennifer says that it's every woman's dream come true to get those diamonds. Apex prepares for their trip to the boardroom. Chris says that he's a straight shooter and if Trump wants a person who speaks his mind, it's Chris. Kevin thinks that Chris should be fired because he didn't contribute to the task. Ivana reminds Jennifer that the two of them and Kevin had to pick up the slack. Jennifer says that Chris gave up. Ivana agrees: "In the first five hours." Jennifer: "In the first ten minutes." She wants to know what kind of project manager does that. Sandy asks Chris how his group got along. He says they got along fine, but they sucked. She asks if he's going to bring all three of his teammates to the boardroom. He says something I couldn't catch even on three viewings, then starts pretending to shoot a gun. Chris confuses me. Chris tells Ivana and Kevin that he's not going down without fighting. He brings up their three losses in a row. Kevin says that they worked well, but Chris contributed the least. Chris does some swearing about the bridal salon. Both teams say their goodbyes and Apex departs for the boardroom. It's time for the weekly smackdown. Trump asks Chris what happened; Chris responds matter-of-factly that they lost. He says that their team gelled and Ivana agrees that they rallied, though Chris gave up. Trump doesn't think that Chris seems like the kind of person who would give up, but Ivana maintains that he did. She thinks that he should have been more reactive than proactive. There's a Trumpism for you. Kevin says that Chris didn't have a plan, he just wanted action. Kevin wanted to sit for a minute and come up with a plan, but Chris was in favor of going out and doing something. Chris protests that that was on the first day; on the second day he was ready and Kevin wasn't. Kevin wanted to plan the day; he claims that he was up before Chris to work on their inventory list. Trump asks about Kevin's performance and Chris says that in the first nine tasks, Kevin was at the top of the group. However, in the previous day's task, he wasn't operating at even 50%. <--Previous 1 2 3 Next-->View Printable version of this article |
