View Printable version of this article RealityNewsOnline: How did you find out about the show? Sabrina Sikora: Actually, I found out about it from a friend who called me that morning and said, "I heard something on TV, something about Sports Illustrated. So we drove up to Atlanta and did the casting up there. RNO: According to the NBC website, you're a very busy woman. Sabrina: Oh yes! RNO: You're a student, you're a model, and you're a businesswoman. Sabrina: That's exactly right. RNO: How do you find time for all that? Sabrina: You know what? My planner is color-coded. I also did pageants for a while in there and I've just kind of learned to manage over the years. I've been modeling for seven years professionally and after about the first year, you start getting the hang of it. RNO: You roomed with what you termed the "OCD Freaks". Sabrina: [laughs] RNO: Did anything amusing happen with any of them in that regard? Something that wasn't aired? Sabrina: Well, everything in our room was so well packed and so well folded that I don't think anything out of the ordinary could happen. I think you heard Shannon on there saying something about her anti-bacterial wipes, so we were prepared for any situation. RNO: You did very well in the "Tony Says" exercise. Sabrina: He was killing me, but I was trying. RNO: You eventually ended up winning the Supermodel Pass. How did you fell when you were told what your advantage was? Sabrina: I was really excited about it. I was really determined to win the Pass. When I found out what the advantages were, I thought they were really nice, because I got to pick the line up which was fun, but [then] again I've been doing this for a while. If you know how to move, you know how to move, and that's pretty much it. I liked the advantage, because it was certainly helpful as a confidence booster, but I would have been happy with any place in the lineup, just because, if you know what you're doing, you can pretty much be in any part. RNO: So you don't think it was a detriment that you decided to place yourself first? Sabrina: Actually, I thought it would be a really nice thing, just because I could set the tone of the day and show the photographer and the judges that I didn't have to watch anybody. I could just go ahead and get started and do it and not have to sit there and learn from anybody. So I was really excited about going first. I hoped that it would help out. RNO: A lot of people in your position would have put themselves last. If you had to do it again would you change anything? Sabrina: Ever since we filmed this, I'm been thinking, "Would I do anything differently? Would I change anything?" And truth be told, I really wouldn't, because I learned from it and I had a really good experience and I made a lot of great memories from it. I wouldn't have changed anything that I did in the entire competition. 1 2 Next-->View Printable version of this article |
