"The Show's Not Over Yet" - An Interview with Wickedly Perfect's Timby Jenn Brasler -- 02/11/2005
View Printable version of this article RealityNewsOnline: Thanks for doing this interview! I for one am sad that you were eliminated. How did you hear about Wickedly Perfect? Tim: I heard an advertisement on the radio - KROQ - while installing interior doors. RNO: Your forte is carpentry. Were you worried about the cooking and decorating aspects of the show? Tim: Fortunately, I was raised by my mother and had previously been a bachelor for four years, so the cooking part I had under control. As for the decorating, as a finish carpenter, I have a trained eye for detail. I figured that part would come naturally. RNO: How did you react to Mitch's behavior towards your skills as a carpenter? Tim: During the show, I took his behavior as an advantage, thinking that he would underestimate my abilities in further challenges. RNO: Which challenge was your favorite? Tim: The "farm boy" side of me loved the camping challenge. The "artist" side of me loved the living work of art. RNO: Which challenge was the hardest for you? Tim: The apple challenge was the hardest. I was in a crouched position for a good part of the time, nailing apples to the table. Killer on my knees. RNO: Did you connect with any other competitor? Tim: I took something valuable back with me from each competitor, and that was education and friendship. RNO: Which of your teammates did you see as the most valuable? Tim: I feel that Mitch, Heather, Amy, Mychael, and myself are invincible together. There was no and is no challenge we couldn't dominate together. So, in my opinion those people are most valuable. RNO: How did you deal with the stress of the show and the tasks? Tim: I always gave 120%, kept a positive attitude, and I played my guitar. That'll get me through anything. RNO: Do you have any regrets? Tim: No regrets. If the show was over, my fate would be bad luck. But the show's not over yet… RNO: Thanks so much! Good luck with everything you do in the future.
