This is the second of two back-to-back half-hour episodes of Caesars 24/7 airing tonight. Read on to get the lowdown of the second episode. You can read about the first episode here.

A phone call to a new bride’s father is cut off, and three girls compete for a date with the same guy.

Pit Boss Joe is back with high roller Marcie Faith. Marcie was on this show before – in the very first episode, in fact. She’s the young woman who made a hit record and has retired on the proceeds. Last time out she had an incredible run of luck to get herself back to even, but pushed it too far and ended up losing $60,000. In this episode, Marcy wants to recoup that loss and walk away with $200.000.

We next meet Jenna Ball, a new assistant manager in Caesars Weddings Department. She gets involved whenever there are problems, and as an example, we see her deal with a difficult photographer. Delays are a big problem, because Caesars schedules many weddings in a day and one delay has a domino effect. Clearing the chapel quickly after each wedding ends is one challenge, they have to be nice, but they do need to get the room cleared.

Next, we meet Jason Bottenfield from Dallas. Jason played some pro ball in the Red Sox organization but hurt his shoulder and had to retire. None of that matters tonight – tonight, he’s meeting three girls in person that he meet via an internet dating service. He wants to decide which one he wants to get to know further.

We meet the three girls. Cute Dawn is a blonde who works in I.T. Lindsy (yep, no “A”) is another blonde with interest in cooking and bass fishing. Reena is dark and wants to start her own cosmetology business and get married. I’ll call them “Jason’s harem!”

Jason decides a little gambling is the best way to break the ice, and he explains one of the poker variants to the trio. Initially, Jason says he likes Lindsy the most, he’s still considering Dawn, but Reena is not his type. Funnily enough, that’s pretty much how you’d rate them if you were doing so in a purely physical way.

It’s back to the weddings. One wedding is being delayed because the license has been mislaid. Yes, that does sound familiar, doesn’t it? We had another “lost license” story earlier this season. This time, it seems a Caesars person may be responsible. It might be in the chapel, but since no one is there to answer the phone, a runner is sent to search for it. Yep, sounds a bit familiar.

Back to Marcie. Her losses have reached $235,000. Today, she’s losing hard at blackjack. As she says it, “15 or 30 grand in ten minutes.” As good as her winning streak at roulette was last time, this time, Marcie can’t get a winning hand. They change dealers – Pit Boss Joe’s fiancée Cheryl comes in – and finally, things start to pick up for Marcie. Unfortunately, Marcie has a dinner engagement in an hour, and there may not be time for her to get even.

Over with Jason’s harem, Lindsy mentions that she’s a topless dancer. It’s apparent she’s the most outgoing of the three. In an aside, she says that Dawn is boring and Reena is only winning at cards. Me-ow!

The girls all decide Jason needs new clothes, so it’s off to the shops. Lindsy knows she needs to make a move to stand out.

Back outside, weddings are behind schedule today. Further, the missing license has yet to surface. Then oops, there it is, right on the desk. The runner… make that, walker… returns just in time. Lousy editing, the suspense was fully removed from the solution of that little problem.

Marcie is late for dinner, but she’s on a roll so she’s playing as quickly as possible. Her dinner friend calls, and Marcie confirms dinner. In about 15 minutes, she’s picked up $70,000. Joe tells us playing faster doesn’t change the odds. After pulling even for the day, Marcie decides to squeak in a few more hands even though dinner is only a few minutes away. So much for that shower and clothes change! And predictably, Marcie starts losing again… and she’s not happy.

In the haberdashers, dressing Jason isn’t easy when all three women have different ideas but eventually they settle on a nice look for him. Then they decide that the harem should try on some cocktail dresses. Dawn has a sexy low-cut number on, and she looks very hot.

Lindsy decides to organize a little fashion show for Jason, with herself coming out last. She has Dawn go first, then Reena. And now it’s time for Lindsy. Lindsy’s wearing a fur coat. When she’s right in front of Jason, she opens it up for Jason’s view – and by Jason’s reaction, we know she’s “shirt-free” underneath. Jason’s eyes bug out. That’s not sexy, it’s just skanky. We’ll see how Jason chooses.

A new tale begins. Shawn and Andrea were married last night, and her father does not know about it. Shawn had not asked for her hand in marriage. He now calls his new father-in-law to get his blessing. Dad needs to talk to his daughter, but in a minute, Jason takes the phone back… and father-in-law hangs up on him. Whoops!

Andrea says, “I hope he can be happy for us. I love my dad.” And that’s the end of this story. Wow, why bother? We’re just forming an opinion about these kids, and now they’re gone!

Back to Jason’s harem. About Lindsy, he says, “She’s got a great body.” Shopping’s over, and I think Jason has made his decision. He does tell us he’s going to save his new suit for his date with his choice of the harem.

The three ladies are discussing their chances. Reena knows it’s one of the blondes. The other two decide that the flashing will be the deciding factor. Jason comes in last – under-dressed. With minimal suspense, he picks Lindsy. Lindsy has the other girls leave so she can have private time with Jason.

Back at the tables, Marcie is not answering her phone any more. It rings constantly. She can’t break free of the tables. As she loses the last of her chips on hand, she is now down $250,000. At least she can just make it to dinner. Marcie says, “I can afford to lose it.”

In Conclusion:

Tonight’s episode of Caesars 24/7 was called, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” I sure didn’t get what I wanted from these stories!

We had the nothing-new Wedding stories and the overly-brief father-phone story. Both were a complete throw-away. The ex-jock and his harem – that tale was just tawdry. And Marcie – girl, you need a new hobby, you have a gambling addiction and that’s not much fun to watch. I give this episode a “D,” there was little in it to interest me at all.
