“He Was the Silver Lining on the Dark Clouds” – RealityNewsOnline’s Exclusive Interview with Big Brother 11’s Lydia

RealityNewsOnline: Hello, Lydia, and thanks for taking the time to answer these questions from RealityNewsOnline. It’s been quite a week for all the houseguests. From your perspective inside the house, what the heck happened with Chima?

Lydia: I believe that Chima had her last straw. The Coup D’etat sent her over the edge as well as being nominated by Michele who was a close friend in the house.

RNO: You had your own roller coaster of emotions. How did you cope with all the ups, downs, and turnarounds in the house?

Lydia: Kevin was my guardian angel. I couldn’t have gotten through the experience without having Kevin in the house. He was the silver lining on the dark clouds that were surrounding me.

RNO: What was your worst moment in the house?

Lydia: I would say Jessie’s eviction because I took it really hard.

RNO: What about your best moment in the house?

Lydia: Laughing with Kevin and talking about our lives.

RNO: Going back to the beginning, what was your strategy coming into the game?

Lydia: Let people talk to me and gather as much information as I could and take it from there.

RNO: What did you think of Jessie last season and when he walked into the house this season?

Lydia: I thought Jessie last season was arrogant, pompous, and kind of an egomaniac last season. Coming into the house this season, I thought, “I’m either going to love him or hate him.” It takes one to know one.

RNO: Why did you hook up with Jessie so quickly as an ally and a friend in the house?

Lydia: He’s a cute boy. There wasn’t anyone else in the house that I thought was cute or that I liked. You can’t knock a girl for that.

RNO: What made you tell Julie Chen that Jessie was playing you and Natalie?

Lydia: Once Natalie and I compared notes, the stories didn’t match up to what Jessie said Natalie knew. Once I compared it with what Natalie said, it didn’t match up to what Jessie had told me.

RNO: If you could redo any moment in the house, but one not related to the game, what would it be?

Lydia: Getting the unitard. I would have much rather seen Jeff or Russell wear the unitard.

RNO: And on the other side, what would you do differently game-wise?

Lydia: Not trust Jessie.

RNO: Will you be getting a tattoo to mark the Big Brother experience – and if so, what?

Lydia: I plan on getting a giant key on my left leg and putting the initials of the houseguests that I liked in the key.

RNO: What else will you take away from this whole experience?

Lydia: A new friendship with Kevin and a new perspective on life … not to sound too cheesy (smile).
