Popstars 2, Episode 6: From 6000 to 6

One week after the end of the L.A. Workshop, ten finalists wait at home to find out if they have been chosen to be a part of the Popstars 2 group. At the top of this hour-long special episode, the ranks still include:

The Popstars’ judges – Executive Vice President of 143 Records, Jaymes Foster-Levy; choreographer Tony Michaels; and record producer/songwriter Brad “RipRock” Daymond – travel all over the country to deliver the news to the finalists and their families in person. For some, there will be heartbreak, and for some there will be a brand new life of being a Popstar!

Those who don’t make the group are: Shannon Yoesle, Tenia Taylor, Katie Webber, and Jahzeel Mumford. So, that means the winners of Popstars 2 are:

But the real excitement comes at the end of the episode when we are given glimpses of next week’s show. The group of three guys and three girls move into an awesome mansion in L.A. They have dance rehearsals and go into the studio to record their album. But just as the group starts to come together, a crisis hits, and one of the members is forced to leave. Now, they didn’t say leave the group – just that someone is leaving. And I’m assuming the crisis was September 11th, so maybe one of their family members was involved. We’ll see, but I’m just hoping that it’s not Josh or Monika that’s leaving. They’re my favorites, but I think it might be Monika or Donavan. I can’t distinguish either of their voices in the clips of Popstars 2 songs played during the show. We’ll find out next week!
