The Bachelor Guest Stars on NBC Show

Alex Michel, the star of the ABC series The Bachelor, made a surprise appearance during last night's premiere episode of The Rerun Show on NBC.

Appearing as "George" on a revised episode of The Partridge Family, Michel was supposed to be the date of "Karen," the object of "Keith's" affection. Michel's appearance drew applause from the studio audience who recognized the business consultant upon his entrance. NBC took no chances that their audience would not be clued in to Michel's identity by adding a screen caption detailing his claim to fame. However, NBC should have checked the spelling as they billed him as "Alex Michael." Whether or not this was due to SAG rules or registrations is unknown at this time.

Michel gained notoriety via his participation in The Bachelor, where he simultaneously "dated" up to 25 women at the same time in his search to find a potential soul mate and wife. The series finale where Michel opted for Kansas' Amanda Marsh was a ratings winner, prompting ABC to schedule the program in their Fall line-up and one edition of the program featuring runner-up Trista Rehn as The Bachelorette.
