Soft Porn Actor a ‘Survivor: Thailand’ Contestant

Monday August 19, The Smoking Gun website reported that Brian Heidik, one of the contestants on the upcoming Survivor: Thailand was at one time an actor. That is nothing new, lots of contestants go on these shows nowadays hoping a stint on a reality TV show will be the springboard to get them into the movies or TV. And surely, Brian Heidik had some acting under his belt, he appeared on Days of Our Lives, a popular soap opera, and Baywatch Nights. There is nothing wrong with that either, after all many actors have used Soaps as a starting point in showbiz, the most famous being the actress Meg Ryan.

But Mr. Heidik took this one step further. He has apparently been in several "Blue movies." This was not on his application. Gosh, wonder why he left that out?

According to a CBS network statement, "CBS was aware of his past film credits, but all of our survivors ultimately have the option to decide what elements of their background they do and don't want in their bios. Brian Heidik is certainly not the first actor to omit certain credits from his biography."

The Smoking Gun reports further that spokesperson Colleen Sullivan said the network management probably did not sit down for a screening of his films, some of which include titles that show a person Survivor already has outdoor skills, such as Passion Cove and The Virgins of Sherwood Forest.

CBS continued in their press release, "While this is part of his past, he is now a successful used-car salesman raising a family in the suburbs, and we feel he definitely brings something to the show."

That may be true. I just would wash my hands before buying a car from him.
