Big Brother 3, August 21: Cackling, Crooning, Crying, and Crowing

Chiara laments what would have happened if Roddy had left while Roddy is somewhat sad to see Josh go. Although, I bet if asked, Roddy is glad that Josh went and not him. Roddy was afraid that he was going and he doubted the group would have kept him in. Jason says this is a telling sign that Roddy, overall, doesn't trust him.

Reality Check #1 - Can you really trust ANYONE in this game, Jason? But, hey, maybe it’s a sign that Roddy understands strategy better than the rest of you.

We then again another recap as we get to relive Amy coming back into the house. Marcellas is just thrilled that she's back but ChiaPet knows that Amy being back in the house is so not a good thing because it means that even though she has been all snuggly and cute with Roddy - the woman she helped put away is now back and on her turf.

Hardest hit by all of this is Lisa, who learned that Eric had sent his greetings via Amy to Lisa. She was a total wreck she said because she had the opportunity to vote Eric but she opted for Amy instead. Regardless of who she voted for, Eric did not have the necessary votes to return into the house and it appears that Lisa is completely oblivious to this fact (it does not look like the producers told houseguests the results). She feels guilty for feeling the way she does although she knows that if Eric returned she would have to explain why she is no longer siding with Chi-Whore-a and Roddy since they both voted against her. The vote from The Walking Mattress herself hurt the most. She knew that if Eric returned, he would be expecting it to be back as it was before, when it really can't be that way at all. She closes out with an apology to Eric in hopes that he understand why she did what she had to do.

Amy won HoH and you can tell that Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia isn't exactly thrilled that she is the new Head of Household. Roddy, who I just realized either has a really big silver filling on a tooth or a tongue ring (I vote tongue ring), is regretting jumping out as fast as he did, but he was emotionally and physically wiped out from the entire week of being on the chopping block. Psychiara is upset that Roddy abandoned the contest so quickly because you can just tell she knew she was up next regardless of who won it - with the exception of Roddy of course.

So Amy opens up her room and people are already saying that the Poster Child for the Power of Cheese has a room filled with… well… cheese. So they look at her pictures and her Sarah Brighton CD and she gets a letter from home which she reads to everyone. Amy knows that Chlamydiara must think she is next on the chopping block, but who knows what will happen.

The sucking up begins with Non-Erotichiara bringing in her vase with sunflowers in it that she had the previous week when she was Head of Household. At this point we are immediately thrust into the Diary Room where she admits that she never has had the best of relationships with Amy (cue recap where she calls her an "f---ing bee-atch") but she's going to make the best of it. This is where Whore-ara tells Amy that everyone wanted her to come back in (and she leaves out the fact that she voted for Eric) because she left on such good terms and there would be no bad feelings or revenge involved. Amy though is already seeing through it because she knows that The Goddess of Gonorrhea was just trying to save her fat patootie before it gets kicked out the door.

Lisa tells Danielle that she came into the room when those two were talking and even she saw through the conversation and that Chia-Head was sucking up to Amy to keep herself in the house. Lisa then reminds Danielle that Roddy was the one who put Marcellas and Amy up for eviction and it could come back to haunt him.

Reality Check #2 - Karma. It will come back to bite you on the ass. Just ask Chiara-dora, She-Bitch of Byzantium.

Now we're over to Roddy and Marcellas talking. Now, let me just get this out in the open and say it so I can get it off my chest. Roddy knows that Marcellas has a crush on him. Roddy is using that against Marcellas to stay in the house and potentially get an ally. The fact that Marcellas doesn't fully see that (even after what we see later in the episode) makes him one dumb puppy. Anyway, Marcellas wants to clear the air with Roddy about the Roddy-Josh and Roddy-Schizo-ara connection. Roddy , in Marcellas' words, is now "tainted" by the actions of both people. Roddy however says that there is your relationship with those people and then your word. The two of them have nothing to do with each other. Roddy says that if he had his way then Marcellas would never have to worry about being black or gay and that all he does is take in the love that people give him and give it back in return. With that look in Marcellas' eye you just know he wants to scream out, "Kiss me you fool!" Okay, so maybe it was just me. Then again…
