Big Brother 3: Where Does Lisa Stand?

As I was watching the eviction of Roddy last week, I kept wondering to myself who the next two to be nominated would be. It all depended on who won the next HoH competition. I figured that if Danielle finally won the competition then Jason would definitely be safe, and vice versa. I also made the assumption that if Amy won, Marcellas would be on the block. The only question I could not answer was that if Lisa won, who would be nominated? Better yet, whoever does win, would Lisa herself be nominated?

Over the course of this game Lisa has seemed to blend in at times and stick out at others. She has been in the good light, as well as the bad. She had a rough start having to be the first HoH, not to mention being put in an awkward predicament when Gerry decided to use the veto, forcing her to nominate another houseguest. She was one of the original six that planned to stay together until the end. Now, she is the last one remaining. Her relationship with Eric strained her relationship with the rest of the house. When Eric was in the house, little was seen of Lisa except for when she was playing footsy in bed. (Yes, after awhile it became annoying). After Eric's departure from the house we were introduced to a new Lisa, one that was actually ready to start playing the game.

Now Lisa may be in one of the best positions of any of the people in the house. She is not really considered a threat by anyone because she has no more close allies, and she has no kind of power at this point. All she has to make sure is that Jason nominates Marcellas and Amy. If that is what happens, she will be sitting pretty into the final three, as long as Danielle does not win the next HoH. I guess the only question that remains is whether she realizes this. Does Lisa understand that right now, she may be able to change the whole course of the game? I personally, don't think she does. To a point, Danielle has her right where she wants her, and Lisa believes that her bond with Danielle is genuine. However, Danielle has stated several times that the only person in this game she has any real loyalty too is Jason. Too bad Lisa doesn't know this.

I don't want to make it seem as though I am against Lisa because to tell you the truth, after Danielle, I would love to see her win. She is a smart player, and is finally starting to come out of her shell. It's a real shame that it took her this far into the game to do it, though. If she can avoid nomination this week, I think she is in the clear. It will be a real challenge for her not to be nominated. Let's just hope that Jason listens to Danielle and puts up the two most annoying people: Marcellas and Amy.
