Big Brother 3, September 19: It's Raining, It's Pouringby C. Brian Devinney -- 09/20/2002
View Printable version of this article So it's eviction night and we get yet another recap with Danielle winning HoH and nominating Amy and Lisa (no surprise there), the flirting with virgin Jason, Amy and Jason getting a trip away from the house, and well… it's a recap… we all know this stuff already. And trust me… it's just the beginning of all of the recaps. There are more and more and more and more and more of them to come. My favorite part of the show came early. You know how they replace each person's picture with a shot of them leaving the house in the opening credits. Just watching Marcellas' eviction made me smile and do a little happy dance. I am so glad to see him gone. Anyway, fashion check on Miss Julie Chen and at least she's in something decent tonight instead of that pirate shirt that made her look like a reject from the ensemble of Peter Pan. Nice tasteful black and it something I can deal with for an hour. So there are only six days left in the competition and we are reminded that Danielle won HoH and that Amy and Lisa are nominated. Amy now has a record SIXTH nomination in the house and if she makes it past tonight… well, unless she wins HoH, she gets her SEVENTH nomination. I'm sure it's nothing personal, Amy. I think they just want some alcohol of their own to drink. Jason, the sole voter, will pick who he wants to be in the final three with him and Danielle. Will he pick the weak Amy or Lisa, who Miss Julie says is the object of his schoolboy crush? Now wait a minute. When the heck did this come out? I mean… was I on crack or something when this was revealed? So we get more cigar smoking and Danielle wants to make it to the final round. Jason says he can't change what he's done so far to betray Danielle. If the third person wins HoH this week he wants to be eliminated so they will pick Danielle over him to go into the finals. Lisa thinks she could beat Danielle but she knows she can't beat Jason. Hmmm. A Jason/Lisa final. That would be interesting. Amy, because she's a moron, says she wants Danielle to win. Um, Amy. Honey. According to everyone in the chat room I was with tonight, even you would beat out Danielle in the final two. Lisa is now realizing that there just might be something between Danielle and Jason that she hasn't realized before. Ya think, Lisa? Is it just now sinking in? Her thought processes have been telling her that maybe, just maybe, it's possible that they made an alliance early on (cue recap of the two making that early alliance) but they needed that third body to ensure victory (cue recap of Danielle saying she could get Lisa). Of course we also get a recap of Danielle telling Lisa that they would make it to the final three somehow. Of course she made this same promise to Marcellas and Roddy so I don't know why they chose to show that, since it does nothing for her credibility. Hottub time for a total non-sequitur moment and we hear Amy say that there are no alliances in the house, which means that Amy's alcohol intake is so high that she's oblivious to what is going on around her. Danielle thinks the only person she can beat is Amy in the final round. Some of us think that she can't beat anyone. It just seems impossible to Danielle that Amy can beat her. So, back to the nominations when Danielle pretty much said for Amy and Lisa to use their feminine wiles on Jason. So there's some sniggling, some flirting, and some kissing including one on the lips from Lisa. I wonder how Eric felt about that. I wonder how Jason's virgin libido is doing? Anyway, Jason is struggling over his vote and he wonders if Lisa is the stronger player and he could have a better chance to win against Amy. Lisa is an amazing competitor but they know that they have to win the HoH to take out Lisa and make sure she doesn't make the final two. Into the house live now and Jason says he's the luckiest man in America. Um. Okay. If you say so. He says it's horrible that he has to make the final vote and he doesn't want to pick between either of them, but he has to do it. Lisa talked about her online chat time and hearing from Eric so she's pretty happy. Then there was Amy and her cash prize and she says she would have told them for sure that she screwed them over. 1 2 3 Next-->View Printable version of this article |
