Road Rules 11, Episode 15: Merry Pranksters

Before we get to the prank/mission, we see a montage of all the missions the group has failed so far. God, I hope this isn't foreshadowing. I can't take another vote. Eric is yammering about how he wants to do his best. He must still feel guilty about that straightjacket thing and not being able to find his anus.

Our group pulls into Vegas and "the cute (mission) mayor from Phoenix" shows up, as Darrell says. The kids can't stop talking about how great this prank is and how their pride among all Road Rules casts is at stake (even though I only remember one prank from cast to cast, but OK).

So here's the prank. The group has 36 hours to somehow get in to the Real World suite at the Palms, handcuff a cast member to the hot tub rail, take a picture, and steal their phone. Darrell is freaking out because he met Brynn at finals, and she's going to recognize him. Raquel met Steven at some audition in Texas. If the group fails the mission they have to hand over $6 grand to the Real World cast.

So bossy Eric immediately takes over and everyone gets mad at him. His plan is for Kendal and Rachel to go in the casino and try and seduce the male members of the cast. Shane and Eric will follow and try and get into the suite. Raquel and Darrell are left behind, since they might be recognized.

Not more than five minutes after the girls go in the casino, security tips off the Real Worlders that the Road Rulers are looking for them. So plan No. 1 is blown.

Eric comes up with plan No. 2. He and Shane pretend to be MTV.com photographers and go up and try and get in the suite, saying they're working. Eric makes really crappy fake MTV passes. Security won't let them in the suite, surprise surprise, and winds up calling one of the Real World producers. Shane can't think of a phone number to tell the producer where to contact them and the producer asks them to leave the hotel... hehe.

So now Darrell comes up with a plan, since no one's listening to Eric anymore. His idea is to find two random people to play cast "decoys." The cast can walk in with the decoys, admit their defeat to the Real World gang, the Real Worlders will think they've met the cast and the jig is up. In the meantime, Raquel and Rachel will go in, distract Steven, get him up to the suite and do the deed. (That means finish the prank, although, knowing Steven, it could be the other "deed" too.)

The cast goes in with the two fakes and everything is going according to plan. Raquel and Rachel walk in and immediately find Steven. He immediately says "wanna come up and see the house?" This is too good.

The girls want to take a pic with Steven but he tells them he can't be in any pictures (that's kinda stupid if you ask me). They convince him he doesn't have to show his face, then Rachel persuades him to handcuff himself to the hot tub (perv). Raquel gets in and they take the picture. Rachel steals the phone while Raquel pretends to be looking for the handcuff keys. They run out of the suite, giggling.

Steven manages to free himself with bobby pins, laughing and muttering that this is the worst day of his life. Yeah, he's usually handcuffed with his clothes off. Darrell has been downstairs the whole time flirting and distracting the girls, and he runs off as soon as Steven finds him.

Steven tries to explain his misfortune. "Guys are stupid for pretty girls." Yeah, especially you.

Next week: It looks like both casts are at Lake Meade for the annual competition between shows. Eric is doing the "Put the tongue down Trishelle's throat" competition right in front of Kendal, who's getting upset. I'd be upset too. I wouldn't want that thing back after that, either.
