‘No Boundaries’ Returning to Televisionby David Bloomberg -- 09/26/2002
View Printable version of this article You probably thought the reality show No Boundaries was gone for good (unless you live in Canada, where it actually finished airing). Once WB dropped it, there were signs that contestants and Ford, the sponsor, was trying to find it a new home. But until recently, there weren’t any signs of actual success. However, the Outdoor Life Network, which bills itself as “the leader in adventure TV,” has recently put out a press release about the fact that they have picked up the show and will begin running it on Monday nights at 8/7 Central, starting September 30. For those of you who have never heard of the Outdoor Life Network (which, until recently, included myself), it is available on DirecTV (channel 608) and on the Dish Network (channel 151). It is apparently available on some cable networks as well. The series will begin anew with episode one (four episodes were broadcast in the U.S. on WB before cancellation). The final winner will win $100,000 and a Ford Explorer Sport Trac. In the press release, E. Roger Williams, President and CEO of OLN, said, “We are excited to bring No Boundaries to OLN viewers. It is a perfect addition to OLN's exciting, high-quality adventure programming.” RealityNewsOnline already has summaries posted for episodes one through four, plus episode seven (from a Canadian correspondent) and an interview with contestant John Hodges. You can find all of these at our No Boundaries page. RealityNewsOnline will continue to cover the series if we can find a writer who gets the Outdoor Life Network.
