Survivor: Thailand – Advice to the Remaining Sixby Jeffrey Clinard -- 12/03/2002
View Printable version of this article With ten down, the remaining six should be smelling the money, but more importantly, they should be thinking about the path that will take them to the finals for a chance at it. The writing should be on the wall, but some might just be too blind to see it. So what should the remaining castaways do? Listen to the Survivor Advisor, of course, for what they need to do to win the game. Jake. You've been trying to make the deals, but you've been for the most part unsuccessful because the former Chuay Gahn tribe has been too tight to break up. The smart move you made was with Helen, suggesting problems not now, but a few votes down the line. It's time to remind her of this and suggest you and the remaining women form a voting coalition to take out Brian, Clay, and Ted. Otherwise it looks pretty bleak for you at this time. Helen. You need to cut a final deal now, either with two of the Chuay Gahn men or with Jan and Jake. If you don't get into the final alliance now, you're going to be voted out soon. Take these steps to secure yourself in the final three. Jan. You saw your first vote at tribal council, but it could be your final vote. You need to ally up with a deal for a final three finish or you're dead meat. This probably means dealing with Jake and Helen to counter the country club boys. Consider the potential finalists and the jury as well – who can win and who can lose? It's a key to end-game strategy. Clay. You seem to have your deals made with Brian and Ted, but something is also going on with Helen. It's time to fish or cut bait and decide which path to take to get you to the final three. You can tell everybody that they are going to the final four with you, but at some point they are going to realize that you were lying. You might consider tossing Brian as soon as it is safe to do so because he's too dangerous of an opponent to be allowed into the finals. Ted. Right now you don't have much choice but to stick with your allies Brian and Clay and vote out the others. As long as the Chuay Gahn men are united they can get to the final three. Spend your time building some bridges with the remaining contestants – you'll need jury votes if you make it that far. Jeffrey Clinard lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his kittens, Lam and Princess.
