Big Brother 4, August 5: Dana’s Last StandPage 2View Printable version of this article The ceremony involves placing a picture, incense, and his father's favorite food and drink on a table. Jee chooses apples and oranges. Jun is helping him prepare for the ceremony and this is where I can see how she sort of takes care of him. She asks Jee, "What does your mother usually do?" He answers, "She peels them." She then says, "Then I'll peel them." Jee was saying, at first, that it didn't really matter but Jun did think it mattered that it was done the exact (or close enough) way his mother did it. We get to see Jee perform some of his ceremony and it's a very touching moment and one I'm glad wasn't left on the cutting room floor so we could see more of Dana's ranting, which is where we're headed now... Dana wants to play superhero. Give me a break! This woman's ego is bigger than that whole freaking house! I don't think I've ever come across a more annoying person than her. Honestly. I can find no good in her and I've tried. She annoys the crap out of me. And it's not just in the editing because I've been keeping up with the live feeds and it's no different there. Please, please, please don't let her win that Veto! The Veto competition this week is like a giant memory board of sorts. The HouseGuests each went into the diary room and chose four squares on a board and wrote their names in there. There pictures go on the corresponding squares on the giant board outside. If more than one HouseGuest chose the same square, there will be more than one picture under it. Each square is covered with a large piece of sod. I think the game is called "Snake in the Grass." They each take turns lifting off a square and when all four of their pictures have been uncovered, that person is unable to win the Veto but can still eliminate other people. Got it? Good. Then we'll start with Justin. He uncovers Erika and Nathan. Apparently they both picked the same squares. Robert is the next to uncover a face and it's a giant picture of Justin's head! Jun and Dana (the nominees) picked three out of four of the same squares. It's fairly easy to eliminate them, however Erika and Nathan are the first eliminated followed by Jun and then Alison. Alison then takes out Dana saying, "If I can't win it then neither can she... Sorry, lady!" Kind of snotty, however. So, Dana is out and then Justin followed quickly by Jack. Jee and Robert are left and Jee decides he doesn't want the pressure of having the Veto and uncovers his own head, leaving Robert to uncover the final Jee picture and become the winner of the Golden Power of Veto. Now, will he use it? He's on Dana's "team" so to speak but Jun is as well. Dana has found the entire thing ironic because she saved them and now they can save her. UGH! Shut up, Dana! Shut up, shut up, shut up!!! She doesn't, though. She goes on about how it's the noble thing for them to save her. At least one of them wouldn't be in the house without her. Robert is pretty sure that Dana will ask him to use the POV on her. She only cares about herself. Admittedly, in this game, she should only care about herself but not make it quite so obvious. Now she is imitating Alison when Alison uncovered Dana's last picture. She is hopping around like a six-year-old doing the pee-pee dance and shaking her head and rolling her eyes. She is making herself look even more like an idiot. Dana is now whining to Justin, this is her 11th hour and she'll be working it. Justin says that Dana is an awesome person but he won't sacrifice Robert or Jee based only on his personal feelings for Dana. Justin is a smart player, I think. And, he's one of my favorite ones despite what he sees in Dana. Dana has moved on to Robert with the whining now telling him that she saved him. And finally some more whining from Dana but this time to Jun. It never ends! Jun is worried that Robert may actually use the POV just to catch everyone off guard. I, for one, certainly hope he does not use it! It's in his best interest not to. If he does, then undoubtedly Justin will be nominated and he'll lose a stronger member of his alliance. It's time for the Veto meeting now. When given the chance to speak, Jun says that of course she thinks Robert should use the Veto on her. She doesn't like being on the block; but, if he doesn't, she's cool with that too. She actually isn't cool with that but it's part of the way she's playing the game. Dana, on the other hand, tries reverse psychology on Robert and takes a stab at Nathan in the process. She says that she doesn't want Robert to use his POV on her and that he has honor pumping through his veins. He should be a man and let the game play out unlike Nathan last week. In the end, Robert chooses not to use his POV to save either lady and pretty much secures Dana an in-person interview with Julie Chen Wednesday night. In the Diary Room, Dana says that she believes Robert should have used his Veto on her. Ugh! She makes me crazy, this woman! She has, however, started thinking that maybe she will stay in the house. Maybe Jack and Erika will keep her around to help get rid of Nathan and Alison. It's all about Dana, I'm telling you! Make it stop!!! Ahhh, there's the credits. On to the live show! Chant with me...
