Big Brother 4, August 8-9 Live Feed Highlights: They Get Sheryl Crow, We Get Laundry!

by Sting7 -- 08/11/2003
The winner of the Power of Veto Competition spells certain doom for one HouseGuest. The Luxury Competition turns out to be quite "revealing." What do the HouseGuests think of Big Brother 3? Who's running for office? The answers are here! Obviously, this article contains spoiler material.

FRIDAY

Big Brother nastily awakes the HouseGuests for the day (it's been an ongoing problem, especially with the Stooges). The Power of Veto (POV) competition is coming and everyone is a bit tense. Robert vocally want to just "get the sh*t over with."

FOTH (Front of the house pictures only on the live feeds) for almost two hours!

Jee says to Robert, "you have to go through another one," which suggests Robert won the POV competition! Nate mopes through his Subway lunch. In peppier talk, Justin slags Alison and her behavior during their relationship. He says he hated taking her to clubs because she was drunk and loud almost immediately. They can't believe she has kissed so many men in the house, and still declares she wants to marry Donny! (I can't believe it either.)

Jun says Jee went away on a ski-trip and came back with a "ho-bag" and that was the end of them. There was also stimulating conversation about how Jee was caught touching himself under his sheet. Jee replies that Justin does it all the time and no one teases him. Justin even drools. (I can relate to that!) Jun, Erika, and Alison talk about the horrible way Nathan is taking being on the block. Alison says everyone has been on the block but Robert and Justin. Erika leaves.

Alison then confesses that since she was angry at Nate, she threw the POV competition, but he doesn't know that. Still, he's angry at her for losing because she was so close to winning POV! Then, Alison has the nerve to say, "it's not like I ASKED him to take me off last week!" (Revisionist history appears to be another of Alison's talents.)

Alison and Nate are alone at last. Nathan asks if she had to choose between a modeling career and Donny which would she choose? She says she would tell Donny she's being paid to be a model and he'd still be her boyfriend. (Um, that's not choosing!) Then they discuss their kiss. They agree it sucked. Nathan says Alison is a "player" and her true colors are coming out. Nate says he saved her with POV purely for strategy. She snaps she knows that. Nate then says she instigated the kiss and she is such a liar. Then he says he didn't know Alison even had a boyfriend, just thought she was dating someone. (Nonsense.) Alison says he had to know about her boyfriend from all the wailing she did from day one when Justin strolled through the kitchen. (Exactly.) Alison scores the knockout when she says, "after meeting you, I know Donny is who I want to be with. I even love his flaws." Nathan actually winces! Later, Alison asks Nathan for a foot massage.

Nate complains to Jack that he's played the game so badly. He should have nominated Justin when was HOH. He should have let Alison fend for herself, and Dave would (probably) still be there. Nate says he can't believe the Stooges think they will be famous when they get out. Alison stumbles out and asks Nate to come to the hot tub. Nate mumbles something about her being "drunk again." Nate does get in the hot tub, as do all the others except Jun and Robert apparently. Alison spends her drunken time with mean-spirited zinging at Nate. When he's had enough he pinches her somewhere!

Nate says he heard Jee once questioned his sexuality. Jee babbles a non-answer and leaves. Nate says he can't see how anyone could think he was gay! Nate adds at this point, he's down to a Hail Mary. Jack refers back to the food competition on Friday’s show and mentions that all kids should get to see their fathers as strawberries! (Heh!) Nate is sure he is history. He and Jack run a mock Julie Chen interview:

Jack (as Julie): So how was it being on the block?
Nate: It was orgasmic!

The Stooges featuring Jun continue reveling in "the numbers." They talk about how Alison keeps saying, "trust me, trust me." They don't. At all. Jun has started working out, Robert says the cameras were on her a lot during, he could hear them moving. Jun warns Jee not to be seduced by Alison. Robert says Nate makes him sick, and he can't wait for him to be gone. (Sounds bad for POV possibilities!)

SATURDAY

Another rough wake up from Big Brother. Jun is making breakfast, but is told a Luxury Competition is in 30 minutes! She has to hustle! Jee is embarrassed by the skimpy swimsuit he has to wear! Nate teases him that he can see Jee's "package!" (Flashback: I don't why anyone would think I'm gay!)

The Luxury Competition is called "Fluff and Foam." In essence, the HouseGuests have to strip out of their bathing suits to reveal a letter under a patch on the inside of their suits. They have to use the letters to decipher a word, which describes what they won. And, they win... laundry service for a week! Erika gulps, "I stripped for laundry?"
