Big Brother 4, August 14 Live Feed Highlights: I Wanna Go Hooooome!

by Sting7 -- 08/15/2003
...and the game turns, turns, turns! The HOH competition has sent a complete shock wave through the house and the focus of power has made a pronounced shift! Who says they want to go home? Who's acting like they want to go home? Why is Alison so upset? The answers are here! Obviously, this article contains spoiler information!

THURSDAY – After the HOH Competition

Everybody went to bed! Jack and Erika are up first and talk strategy. Justin is definitely on the block. The plan is put up Justin and Robert and pray Justin does not win Power of Veto (POV). If he does not, offer Robert a one-week deal. They won't vote him out if he does not put up Jack or Erika next week, should he win HOH. With Justin gone and the Stooges shattered, targeted Robert should not be a hard sell with the other HouseGuests. (Excellent plan!) They also talk about making Jee feel better. He's been walking around looking guilty as sin.

It is still critical that Jack wins HOH next week. If Ali wins, Jack could be in danger again. They decide she can never know about any other deals, she just can't be trusted. Still, they need her. As long as Justin doesn't win POV, she won't stray over to the Stooges again. They also discuss making a deal with Jun and Jee.

Alison is annoyed that Julie alluded to her and Nathan being bedmates. They only napped together once! She says. (They sure did spend a lot of time in bed...) Erika goes Sphinx again, and then hugs her. Later, Ali is still raging, has a little breakdown, cut to Front of the House (FOTH). (Cripes!)

The house begins to determine teams for the Food Competition. Everyone thinks this will be the Fear Factor eat gross stuff competition. The Stooges know they are in trouble this week. Robert says if he goes on the block, he's eating whether he loses the Food Competition or not. They all say they are happy, whether or not they get nominated (is it really an 'if'?). Justin says he wants out anyway, he won HOH, got plenty of TV time, he's satisfied. Robert says he won two POVs, he satisfied. Poor Jee would have to spend 3-4 more weeks with these people! Robert says he's not going in the HOH room and see Erika's pictures and crap. He’s not going in the whole week. (Suuure!)

Erika says her HOH room is done. There is Robert, looking at her pictures and crap.

Jee confesses to Justin that he was offered a deal, and he feels like s**t about taking it, then he says he didn't take it, he's a Stooge til the end, talking in complete circles. Jee says if Justin goes up, Jee and Alison will vote against... Robert! Justin lets him off the hook, no need to feel bad.

Alison asks Erika if she knows who she's nominating. Erika says it will be a shock to no one! She says Robert has to know he's going up!

Robert tells Justin and Jee that IF he goes up (so delusional) he would rather leave the house than unpack (earlier Jack and Erika wondered if Robert really even wants to be there anymore). Jee apologizes again (guess Robert knows the deal went down). Jee leaves. Then Robert starts to slam Jee, but Justin stops him, saying they all knew what would happen if Jack or Erika got HOH, so it doesn't matter. Of course, Robert backs down. Somehow, Robert switches gears and says he is impressed Jee stood in that cage all that time for him and Justin (I STILL can't figure out the rationale in this, unless they are talking about how long it took him to decide to take the deal).

Jee is back. Now, Robert decides he hates Jun, she's a snake. He feels like Nate did when he confronted her. He tells Justin that if he survives, make Jun next! Jee says she has "blonde ambition" (add your own punchline). Justin again says he is ready to leave. His goal was to make it sequester, the payday is big (they don't say how much) but he says Amanda only gets $700. Jee says Justin and Robert are all that kept him going. Robert can't be swayed – he HAS to last longer than Jun or he couldn't live with himself.

Jack tells Erika he got wind of Robert encouraging Jee to pull Justin if he wins POV. Erika says, sorry you have to stay. (Heh!) Jack says they may not have to make a deal with Robert after all. Justin is claiming to want to leave, Robert is acting like he wants to leave. Jack says the "floaters" have all come to Erika, Justin and Robert's fates seem sealed. Erika says Jee's deal seems to have taken the wind from their sails.

The house goes through a long lockdown as the Food Competition is being prepared. Erika is under the impression that nominations were to be today as well, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Meanwhile the HouseGuests are given elaborate outfits to wear!
