Big Brother 4, August 27: Jee Finally Loses

Jack leaves with his final words noting that it was a tough game, but he enjoyed it – and they were better at it than he was.

So it’s time to crown a new HOH. In preparation for the competition, they have been secretly removing items from the house. It didn’t take long for the HouseGuests to realize that something was up. We see some things disappearing. Jee and Rob say not to tell the others. But then they share it with Alison, telling her not to tell the others. Oh please. Do you know the three fastest forms of communication on the planet? Telephone. Telegraph. Tell Alison. She, of course, immediately runs to tell the other two ladies. Even the fish disappear from the screen! Then things start coming back. Hmmm.

So, in a surprise to nobody, the HOH competition is called “Disappearing Act.” Julie notes that several items slowly disappeared from the Big Brother house over the course of the week. They have eight questions about those missing items. For each question, the first HouseGuest to buzz in and give the right answer gets a point. If they are wrong, they’re out of the game. The player with the most points at the end of eight questions or the last person standing is the new HOH.

  1. This item usually marks the spot. Alison: X. Correct.
  2. There are more of these items than any other. Jun: Marbles. Correct.
  3. This item has a hat. Jun: The rubber ducky. Correct.
  4. You might say this item belongs to a HouseGuest named John. Erika: The lid to the toilet. Correct.
  5. You all have one of these, but this one is unique. Robert: Picture. Julie Chen asks him to clarify. He hems and haws like he doesn’t understand. She asks whose picture. He eventually mumbles, “Amanda’s picture.” They accept that. He is finally on the board.
  6. These items get more screen time than you do. Erika: The fish. Correct.
  7. This item has been used in nomination ceremonies. Pause. Finally, Jun says, with a question in her voice: The yellow dining room chair. Correct.
  8. Name the two items that were taken from the house and then returned. Erika buzzes in right away – she has nothing to lose. She says the clock and … … … Julie chimes in that she only has five seconds left… Nope. Time’s up. So Jun wins! She gets hugs – practically tackled – from both women. So much for the secret alliance. Jee and Robert look doomed! Rob choked bigtime on this one. The look on his face tells the story.

But wait, there’s more. Julie says a big surprise is in store for the new HOH. How will she react when she finds out she is leaving the Big Brother house?

Julie finds the HouseGuests back in the living room. She tells us that as part of the next step in a series of twists, Jun is about to be removed. To the HouseGuests, Julie says Jun was so sharp – was she studying what was missing? Yes, but she was not letting others know she was studying. How does it feel to be HOH for the first time? Jun is really looking forward to getting stuff from home. Erika, how do you feel having just escaped? Relieved, obviously. And she couldn’t be happier that Jun has HOH because she gets to have a little slice from home. Yeah, that’s the reason. Sure. How altruistic of you.

Julie says that the HouseGuests have been told over and over again to expect the unexpected. At this, Jun makes a sick face. Jun is instructed to go to the Diary Room immediately. Julie tells her that she’s the center of next big twist. What would Jun say if Julie told her there was a limo waiting just for her outside? Jun says she’d ask where she is going. Well, after 54 days of confinement, she will be leaving to her hometown – NYC, as a special guest at the MTV Video Music Awards. She needs to pick up a blindfold, walk to the door on the far side of the room, put on the blindfold, open the door, walk out, and have a good time. Jun looks totally stunned by the whole thing.

Julie wonders: How will Jun react? How will the others react when they realize she’s missing? And how will this affect the game? Well, as of right now, the other HouseGuests have no idea Jun is no longer in the house. Julie says to tune in Friday (or earlier as RealityNewsOnline brings you live feed highlights and, of course, our spoiler page) to see how they react and how the twist will affect the veto. Hmmm.

So we eavesdrop as we leave. Alison says the real shocks are over and producers could basically do anything now. Erika says they should just bring in all her exes! They’re all sitting around, waiting for Jun to come out. Sitting. Waiting. Sitting. Waiting. Heh.

As we leave, I’m pondering what will happen next. There are lots of possibilities because Jun has so many alliances. She has been allied with Jee since the beginning. But now she’s with Alison and Erika. Robert is the only one she is not allied with! OK, so he’s a lock to be nominated – but who else? If she puts up Jee, she can’t guarantee he’ll be safe. After all, the others have been saying all week that Jee put a bigger target on himself – and nobody wants to be up against him in the finals anyway! But would she put up one of the women? I don’t think so. It might all come down to who gets the Veto this week! We’ll find out soon!
