Big Brother 4, September 4 Live Feed Highlights: Can’t Tell the Liars Without a Scorecard!by David Bloomberg -- 09/05/2003
View Printable version of this article The HouseGuests were up late lying to each other on Wednesday night, but it’s time to get up on Thursday! They begin the day with everybody’s favorite pastime – Dana-bashing! Jun says Dana thought she was the whole show and that people were tuning in just to watch her (shades of Mike Boogie from BB2). Rob tells them that even on her last day, she was expecting a twist to stop her from having to go. And so on. Later, Alison and Erika are talking about doing paid TV work and Erika mentions that they would have to join the Screen Actors Guild. Alison asks what that is. Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me. When Alison leaves and the other three are talking, they realize that they are all on the same page and that Alison thinks each wants her with them in the final two. So instead, they’ll take her out. Erika again brings up Colby and Tina from Survivor 2 (she mentioned them last night, too) but she seems to indicate this as a positive thing! She says that everybody will be happy that they get rid of Alison. Apparently, she has forgotten that Colby lost! D’oh! When Rob and Erika have some time alone in the backyard, he says that if he leaves next week, he will vote for her to win, and try to pull others to do the same thing. He also mentions that he had told Alison that he wouldn’t go for the Veto, but he definitely is. He also tells her that he is still attracted to her. She doesn’t reply. Yeesh. Which head is Rob playing this game with?! Jun and Alison talk and agree to keep each other apprised of whether they find out who the target is (of course, Jun already knows the answer to that!). Alison thinks that Erika is going to do whatever Rob tells her to do, and they wonder why she’s had the sudden change of heart. Um. So the biggest “floater” in the game is wondering why somebody else “floated” to the side of the HOH?! Rob is getting ready to do the nominations. And the nominees are… Jun and Alison! Oh for crying out loud! Rob – use your head! The one on top of your neck, that is! You can beat Alison in the end. You can probably beat Jun in the end. You likely cannot beat Erika in the end! So who are you not nominating? Erika! Argh! After nominations, Erika heads to the backyard and even though she asks Rob to leave her alone, he doesn’t. He talks about how psyched he is that they could be the final two, and talk somehow turns to sleeping arrangements for naps. He encourages her to use the HOH room any time. Uh huh. Suuuure. She’ll get right on that, I bet. We break away from our regularly-scheduled game talk to hear the women discuss when they accidentally saw their parents have sex (or, in Jun’s case, oral sex). Trust me, this is not a discussion you need details on. So let’s move along. While Alison is in the Diary Room, the other three discuss getting her out. Jun says she’s putting her life in their hands, and they assure her that they have her back. Then Alison comes out and Erika heads in. Jun tells Alison that she’s suspicious because Erika and Rob are too friendly. Then Erika and Alison talk, with Erika saying there is no way anybody would want Alison out – that would be crazy! They just have to hope Jun doesn’t win Veto. Jeez, you need a scorecard to figure out which lies about being told to which people! The night ends with Erika and Rob discussing which of the other two is least trustworthy. Sheesh. That’s like figuring out which hurts more, getting stabbed in the right leg or the left leg. In any event, they don’t reach any further decisions and they’re going to have to wait to see what the Veto might bring… With that, everybody goes to bed.
