Big Brother 4, September 17-18 Live Feed Highlights: Girl Talkby David Bloomberg -- 09/22/2003
View Printable version of this article Wednesday After Wednesday night’s live show, Alison and Jun are the only two left in the house. Almost immediately, they start talking about how they wish they didn’t have to stay in the house for the final week. Yeah, well, join the crowd. The two of them begin to discuss their reactions to the final HOH competition. Jun notes that of course the two of them have more control over what’s going on in the house – they’re still there! (I have to admit, this was my reaction to the question as well.) Alison says Justin looked fat and Jun wonders if they could just stop seeing them already. Sorry, not ‘til the finale. Alison whines that Rob didn’t even ask why she put zero and Jun put a million as their tie-breaker answers. Jun says Rob doesn’t think anybody throws competitions. Yeah, I’m sure he couldn’t figure out that’s what you were doing, Jun. You’re just so much smarter than everybody else. They both think that Justin may have answered some questions dishonestly to throw things off for her. Yeah, let me guess. Alison must think that Justin really believes she is better in bed than him, that he really does find her attractive, that he trusted her, etc. The girl needs a clue. They both talk (and sing) about how they are going home with money and Jun is simply gleeful that Rob had to suffer through almost all of it but he’s gone without the prize. But she chides Alison about stroking Rob’s ego in her final speech. It does occur to Alison that Jun obviously threw the HOH competition, and she inquires as to why. Jun says if she had won, Rob would have wanted her to take him along. Alison looks puzzled. (Okay, Alison, here it is: Jun knew you were taking her. So she figured she’d let you be the one to send the last guy packing and hope that it hurt you with the jury vote.) Of course, with only the two of them in the house, this can only go on for so long. Alison wanders around, making her bed, cleaning up the living room, etc. We do find out, through Jun telling Alison, that she was told in the Diary Room that Rob would indeed be sent to the sequester house, though not for a full week. So he will have some time to compare notes with his fellow Stooges. Know how I said that conversation could only go on for so long? Well, it’s back. What else do they have to talk about, after all? Alison asks Jun if there is anything she regrets in the game. Jun says no. Alison seems to be regretting her speech to Rob, saying perhaps she could have been a little nicer. She adds that she’s surprised America liked him so much. Yo, Alison, look at who his competitors were! It’s not that America particularly liked Rob, they just HATE you! Then back to discussing Justin’s answers. They both decide that it’s because he’s a guy and has to look good for other guys. Oh please. Denial, denial, denial. They discuss whether the jury will be in the house, like last year, or in a different room. Alison remembers the stuff about last year, Jun doesn’t. The conversation drifts off… Alison directly addresses the Internet viewers, asking if somebody out here will hire her when she gets out because she won’t have a job. She even makes a comment about selling herself. Hmmm. Well, at least she knows what she’s qualified for. Since Alison was HOH, she does get a basket from home, including a letter that makes her cry (apparently from her whole family, dated over a month ago), a photo, snacks, and elephant slippers. Jun says if she had known it was an official HOH, she would have thought about it more. Heh. Before bed, Alison asks Jun what she thinks her best move of the game was. Jun says it was aligning herself with Alison. Gag. Alison says hers was getting Nathan to use the Veto. Probably true. Thursday The morning begins with breakfast and a little small talk between the two of them. Jun says, of some of the evicted HouseGuests, that sometimes even if you don’t like somebody, you have to give them credit. Alison remains unconvinced. They then congratulate themselves on what a great game they both played. Talk turns to what kinds of questions they can expect. Jun says Alison will probably get one from Nathan on why she played him. And who knows what Dana might ask! Jun says all the others lost their focus in the game and you have to learn to adapt.
