Temptation Island 3, Episode 5: Drama, Drama, Everywhereby Sting7 -- 09/26/2003
View Printable version of this article Temptation Island 3 had back-to-back episodes this week, with Episode 5 and then Episode 6 immediately following it. Since we have two different episodes, we're splitting into two separate recaps. So let's get going. We begin 15 minutes after the last bonfire. All four women are walking like they are headed for the electric chair. Stephanie tells us that she just saw clips of Anthony with the girl she knew would be trouble. That dang Ashley. To the girls, Stephanie says she knew it would be Ashley. Kara offers that it was only one clip of him and her. No, Stephanie, all of the clips were of him and her. Well, yeah, they were. Stephanie says what bugs her was the bit in the hammock. "They just seemed so happy and at peace. To me, that's much more intimate than making out!" Believe or not, I kind of see her point, but it's not like they were playing Chicken or anything! It's Melissa's turn to kvetch. Kristin stupidly asks what is it that's bothering her. Gee, I dunno, maybe the TAPE? Melissa ignores the ignorable question and again says she doesn't know who the man was. Not her Michael. Sweet, innocent, mildly goofy Michael. She tells the girls that she told him to go out there and explore, so what can she really say to him, but... Well? She's just a little shocked. Melissa tells us the bonfire was stressful and they need to release. There is much frolicking in the pool. Melissa is hugged up on Jerome. Stephanie and Jeff were alone together a lot, says Kristin. Stephanie gushes that she and Jeff were all excited about seeing the stars. Jeff says they expressed their fears to each other and it was a moment he hoped would last forever, and, in his mind, it will. (gag) Melissa says she thinks Jerome is misunderstood. They were very adult and didn't talk gossip and he didn't swear or anything! Jerome says it was the best time he's had on the island. Melissa says she wasn't going to retaliate no matter what she saw, but... Well? She retaliated a little. Now, let's see what the boys are up to. Jason says that after bonfire, one of the guys told him that one the girls told him that Jason ripped off his necklace and threw it into the fire. He continues that he will not allow Kara to get hurt over some crap that isn't true. (Now, based on your behavior to this point, does it seem so out of the question?) Jason, the Tension Master, stands up at the table and announces he has announcement to make. One girl mumbles, "oh great!" Jason explains, in his tactful way, that they just came from bonfire, and that's when tapes of what they do are shown to their girlfriends and vice versa. And, "you may not know this, but you could be affecting our relationships!" (I think they know that. It's kind of the whole point of the show.) Then come the expletives. Basically, don't eff with him, and if "anyone comes around with some bulls--t that ain't true without coming to me first," (do what now?)... Well? "You don't want to f--k with me!" Then he decides that the ambiguous stuff just ain't cutting it so he points fingers. "I know that it wasn't anyone of you - I'll tell you exactly who it was, and it's YOU!" he points to Sandra who I didn't even know was on this show. He concludes that he doesn't care if she heard it from someone else, she has no right to run her mouth. And, if there is a vote-off tomorrow, she may as well pack. To the inferno that is Jason, Sandra says, " I. Am. An honest person. I tell the truth and I speak my mind -- " "Then shut up!" Jason says. "I didn't say you ripped it off..." "Michael?" (So much for that secret!) "What did she say?" Michael says, "I --ee -- er-- pfft!" Oh, well, guilty as charged then! To the camera, Sandra says she he "basically yelled at me." Um, yeah. "For saying he said he took of the necklace. I don't remember saying that - I just talk - I'm just me!" That helps. Sandra says she tried to apologize, but that just made it worse. He continues to rant about the damage this could do to his relationship. She sobs that she just wants to go home. Jeff says he is so totally connecting with Stephanie. Kristin tells some guys she finds the whole thing so confusing (wasn't she anti-gossip?). Giulio says Jeff is chasing two women, so he's walking around with "two left feet." O-kay! Kara says Jeff doesn't know what he wants out of life or in a girl, because every time he goes out with someone, they are the greatest thing ever. Kara adds he has some great lines because she and Stephanie thought he was sincere. View Printable version of this article |
