A Look Back in Time to Melana Scantlin’s High School Photos

We’ve all seen Melana Scantlin on our TV sets several times now. First we saw her on Meet My Folks, and, of course, more recently on Average Joe. Heck, we even saw her in a fat suit. Now, thanks to RNO’s secret operatives who will go to any length to get information on reality TV (OK, so they happened to go to high school with Melana), we have some yearbook photos of Melana from her freshman and sophomore years.

In Melana’s freshman class picture, you can already see that she had perfected the cute smile with her head slightly angled, which has probably caused many a boy and man to stumble over themselves the way many of the average Joes did on the show:

During her freshman year, she was also a cheerleader, which shouldn’t surprise anybody considering that later she would become a cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs NFL team:

In her sophomore class picture, we see that her hair has a little wave added to it:

And, of course, she was on the pom-pom squad, with her hair showing a bit more curl to it still:

But cheering was not the only thing Melana did. She was also in the Distributive Education Clubs of America, which, according to the yearbook, means she was involved in some projects related to marketing:

Alas, we only have photos from her freshman and sophomore years. But while we may have missed the rest of her high school years, we know that she ended up a very beautiful woman who failed to find true love on one show and went looking again on another. We’ll find out tonight who she picks and what their future together looks like.
