Last week: Blah, blah, angst. Blah, blah, nursing grudges. Blah, blah old flames. It would just be easier if you read my recap.

Tonight: Some classmates have the chance to go on a 24-hour reunion. May they never return!

At Reunion Central, Chris lounges with Lenny outside. Chris thinks Lenny is a man with "much power" and should demand an overnight hall pass. Apparently the students have learned that overnight hall passes will be passed out, and they need to ask someone and put their names in the drop box. Laura states that she and the others are coming to the realization that there are only two days left. Stacy feels as though a lot of the drama has been resolved, and that the overnight hall passes should go to people with relationship potential beyond the reunion – like LouAnn and Johnny, Denise and Gabe, and Trevor and Amanda (T & A for short). Because we haven't seen enough of them.

Amanda desperately wants Trevor to take her. Trevor desperately wants to take Amanda! He thinks she is compatible, and so much more. Once again, he states that he never thought someone like her would have dated someone like him, since he was a scrawny wuss back in high school. He just wants to spend some time with her. Trevor asks Amanda to sign up with him, and she enthusiastically agrees, because she is having a great time and doesn't want it to end. I yawn.

Denise isn't sure Gabe will ask her, but hopes he will. She dreams of being together with him and their kids. Gabe, on the other hand, wants to be careful with Denise, knowing she is putting her heart out there, while he is reserving his. He is scared, believing that once your heart is broken, it is difficult to put it on the line again. Still, he realizes that he has lingering feelings for Denise and they need to work out a lot of unresolved issues.

LouAnn, meanwhile, contemplates her Johnny vs. Brad dilemma for time number 1,246. Johnny wants to go on the hall pass with her, and comes to LouAnn dressed up in a nice suit. LouAnn sees him and lets loose with a "Johhh-ny!" Johnny tells her that he's had a great 1.5 weeks, and invites her on the hall pass. "Absolutely," LouAnn says.

Heather F. claims that Gabe and Denise will never change from high school, that Gabe will just try to make them both think he cares about them. Oh, so now it's Gabe's fault, is it? Now that he doesn't want you, of course. Gabe invites Denise out on a hall pass. He tells her to come ready to have a great time. Gabe anticipates that they will have to go over a lot of painful things from the past, and there could be some crying. He doesn't know what to expect.

The teasers into the commercials tell us that Lenny will be choosing a date for the prom. Take Heather C.! Come on, we've barely seen her this series.

Strumming guitar brings us back... and we see a colorful assortment of doughnuts on the kitchen counter, the lone shot of which is more interesting than half of the couples on this show.

LouAnn and Johnny leave in the SUV. Stacy, who has taken an unhealthy interest in their relationship, thinks LouAnn won't decide to break up with her boyfriend and is stringing Johnny along.

Trevor and Amanda leave to find out if they have something real.

Gabe and Denise get ready to leave, and self-satisfied Heather F. watches them go. She claims that, for the first time, her attitude has flipped – she feels sorry for Denise and disgusted with Gabe! Denise is stuck with that two-timing player, whereas Heather F. is free to play pranks on other high school rivals.

Heather C., Jeralyn, and Stacy discuss what to wear to prom. Lenny frets about how he never went to the high school prom because he was afraid to ask anyone. He decides he'll ask Heather F. to the prom. Heather F.?! I said Heather C., Lenny! C! Lenny, however, is excited about the prospect of going with Heather F. "She's just a gorgeous girl," he gushes.

Denise and Gabe arrive at their room and marvel at its beauty. Denise thinks it's perfect for romance. Gabe thinks it's paradise, but isn't ready to let his emotions get the better of him.

Back at Reunion Central, Chris rubs gel on his chest, as the left-behind crowd prepares to go surfing. You mean poor Laura is stuck with the unpopular people? Whatever shall she do? To her credit, she seems to be coping.

Amanda and Trevor embrace as they look out at a beautiful ocean setting. Amanda is excited and nervous about what's to come. They kiss. Can we see that plate of doughnuts again? Please?

Meanwhile, all of the left-behinders paddle out toward the waves on their surf boards, and some even manage a half-decent job of standing up. Not Tre, who collapses instantly, but someone who looks like Jessica does. Jeralyn manages to stay up a few seconds. Laura doesn't even try; laughing, she lies on her stomach as the waves carry her. It looks like a lot of fun, and I can't help but think the hall pass crowd is missing out.

On their hall pass, LouAnn and Johnny stand outside of a lighthouse, drinks in hand, looking out at the ocean. LouAnn says that Johnny has been a "lighthouse" for her, steering her in the right direction. LouAnn thinks Brad will be shocked about Johnny (no!) but she has to start living life for herself, the way she should have out of high school. Her life is her business, not Brad's. Yeah, but... never mind. No, might as well – LouAnn, would you be so nonchalant if Brad were running around with an old girlfriend who materialized out of thin air? Didn't think so.
