by David Bloomberg -- 09/22/2004
Jase was certainly one of the most memorable Big Brother 5 contestants – as he reminded us again on finale night. What did he think of the outcome? What about his relationship with Holly? And the other Horsemen? RealityNewsOnline was able to talk to him and find out all the answers!

Like him or hate him, Jase Wirey was certainly one of the most memorable characters of the fifth Big Brother house. In part that is because he played the villain, as he described in his first interview with RealityNewsOnline shortly after he was evicted. But it’s also in part due to his willingness to speak his mind, no matter what he has to say. RNO had a chance to speak to Jase again after the finale, to get his thoughts about how it all turned out and what went on that final night.

RealityNewsOnline: So, how has your life changed since you were evicted from Big Brother?

Jase: I’m out in California, with my angel sweet sweet Holly. I completely found a girl who is… rolling her eyes at me right now.

RNO: So how are things going with the two of you?

Jase: Things are going good. We have a passionate crazy weird relationship. A lot of people search for this type of thing. We can also piss each other off easily. We’re like the same person. It’s kind of scary.

RNO: Are you going to follow in the footsteps of Allison and Donny and go on The Amazing Race?

Jase: Actually, I asked her. We’ll see. We’re both pursuing acting, but maybe. We’re actually pitching a reality show, like Nick and Jessica but – Jase and Holly. We’d be living in a trailer in Malibu. The place would be a pigsty, with mannequin parts all over the place.

RNO: I know when we last talked, you had indicated you were hoping to get some acting breaks from your time on Big Brother. Has anything begun to materialize yet?

Jase: Actually, I got a part on a Cinemax mini-series but decided not to do it. I have a big meeting with some very high execs in two days, but I can’t say much about it.

RNO: Back when I interviewed you shortly after you’d been evicted, you said you’d love to see Cowboy win, but you thought it would “take an act of God.” He only came up one vote short – what do you think of that?

Jase: The theme of the show was God this year. But I was really impressed. I love him and hoped he would win. He played a slip-through-the-cracks game. I hated that Drew won.

RNO: You had seemed to think that nobody would take Cowboy to the Final 2 because nobody could win against him – did it surprise you that Drew chose to take him instead of Diane?

Jase: No, Drew and Diane didn’t have a real relationship at all. That is totally apparent now. I kind of feel bad for her – she got taken out by her guy. It shows how Drew is. He didn’t care who he hurt, and he even led a girl along.

RNO: Why do you think the jury picked Drew over Cowboy?

Jase: To begin, Will is an idiot. The twins voted for Cowboy. I was rooting for the underdog. He has no money and would have wanted him to win. Drew has had everything handed to him. Cowboy had to struggle. It’s not fair, money goes to money.

I think they voted for Drew because of the way he played the game more hardcore and Cowboy didn’t. If I was there, I would have been campaigning for Cowboy all the way. But thank God I wasn’t.

RNO: You also said other than him, you didn’t care who won – what are your thoughts on Drew, a former Horseman, winning?

Jase: As far as I’m concerned. The Four Horsemen don’t exist. I totally care about Cowboy. But Drew took out Holly and me. Scott and I – there is totally no relationship with Scott. Cowboy was the only loyal and true Horseman brother.

RNO: Whose jury vote surprised you the most?

Jase: I thought Marvin might go for Cowboy – he’s had to work a lot for his money.

RNO: What did you think of the way Drew played the game after you left?

Jase: Whatever. At that point, they were just a bunch of annoying people to watch. I’m completely over this whole Big Brother thing and can’t wait to move forward.

RNO: Did you have a chance to talk to Drew and Cowboy since the win?

Jase: Yeah, but it’s such a crazy environment that we couldn’t really have a conversation. I said congrats to Cowboy and that I wish he could have won. I told Drew, “well, Drew, you’re a rich kid.” That’s all I had to say.

RNO: After what we saw on the finale with Julie bringing up that you and Scott aren’t speaking, did Scott try to talk more about it with you?

Jase: Yeah. But I’m not comfortable with him. It felt like we were back in the house with Scott staring at us. I’m 28 and this is stupid high school stuff with Scott. I’m over it. I don’t want to hang out with him. No offense, move on, I hope it works out. I’m just over it.

RNO: I’ve gotten several e-mails from people wondering what was up with you last night – were you trying to make any particular point or trying to get the spotlight one more time from Big Brother, or was it something else?

Jase: Before we went out, they told us to work it and make it good. So that’s what I did. Also it was about getting some digs in – I could compliment Marvin and insult Will at one time.

RNO: Was there anything you wanted to say on the finale that you didn’t have a chance to talk about?

Jase: There is so much we could or couldn’t talk about. Nah, it’s fine. I wish the segment with us was longer but what can you do.

RNO: Last time we talked, you hadn’t really had any time to look at websites or message boards – have you done so since then? If so, what do you think about them?

Jase: I’ve gone to my website, amazingjase.com, really it’s the Jase and Holly website. I’ve posted some articles on a couple others. But I don’t read the bad comments – it’s not healthy. But Holly reads them.

RNO: What can we expect in the future from you?

Jase: Hollywood is crazy and we’ll see where it goes day by day. I feel I have some good things coming along the way.

RNO: Keep us up to date on what’s going on. Thanks again, Jase!
