Big Brother 4, September 9: It's All About The Veto

The buzzer sounds and everyone is scurrying through the transparencies. Alison looks to be taking the early lead, while Erika says it's tough on the mind as well as the body. Everyone seems to be busting their ass. Finally, Alison and Jun both have one left, but Jun puts up the wrong two names, leaving Ali to run up and claim the veto. I think when that happened I crapped myself. Jun realizes she put Jun instead of Jee for week 8, not realizing she was the Head of Household that week! She looks pretty disappointed, while Ali couldn't look happier!

After a quick commercial, we find Erika dropping to her knees and hugging Ali. Ali says that was kind of sick. She says Robert thought he was getting rid of her, but boy was he surprised! She isn't sure who she is getting rid of at this point. Erika says she will try to work it and hope Ali won't vote her out. Robert tells the camera that he's sure Ali will vote Jun out. Yeah, Robert, didn't you think Michelle was safe, too? Jun tells Ali that Robert and Erika think she is going to vote her (Jun) out. Ali tells Jun not to worry, but then tells the camera she promised Erika she wouldn't vote her out, either.

The HouseGuests find out that this week's America's Choice question is who should get a call from home? They all say how much they want that call. Ali wants it extremely badly, while Erika says it's intense in there so they all want a piece from the outside.

Cut to the backyard looking like an obstacle course. Robert comes out with prison clothes and says it's time for the luxury competition. They all get in their black-and-white striped suites and head outside. This is their chance to escape the house. The prize is a ride on the Goodyear Blimp around L.A. and Hollywood. They must run the course and hit the buzzer to stop the clock. The two fastest times will go on the blimp ride. Robert goes first. He likes the mud and barbed wire and has a good time as the girls are laughing from the side. He finishes in 1:58 - not bad. Erika is next; she states that she isn't crazy about flying or blimps. Jun says Erika is moving like she is 65. Erika says she tried, but had problems with the ball of her ball and chain. She clocks in at 2:49. Jun is off and tears through the course. She says she wants the ride. Her time is 1:20. Ali doesn't want to stay home with Erika, so she tears through the course as well. Ali said she was moving so quickly she ate mud. I have to think that since she's so good at slinging it, how bad can eating it be? Her time is 1:02, so she and Jun will be going for the ride.

After the luxury competition, they enter the house and see a cellphone on the table. They all gather round it and look. Later, it rings while everyone's in the bathroom. They look at the caller ID and realize it's for Robert; it's his daughter. He answers and she immediately starts crying. Robert tells her he loves her and not to cry. They talk a little about home, school, and family as the three girls look on. After a little more crying, they have to hang up. Jun says it's cool to see Robert as a dad and it's sweet and made him look a little more respectable. Erika says she's a grown woman and a 7-year-old needs her dad. Robert thanks America over and over, then goes to lie down.

Time for a blimp ride! The girls get all dolled up and blindfolded. They leave the house and get in a limo. Erika says, and I quote, "Good, the crazy lunatic bitches are gone!" Oh, Erika, you're my favorite this season! Jun and Ali get to a field where the blimp is. They meet John, the pilot, and board the blimp. Ali looks terrified of the takeoff. Back at the house, Erika realizes that Alison and Jun are the ones who really bother her. She makes a comment about the blimp popping.

Alison says Jun may get sick on the blimp. They take some pictures with a disposable camera that Big Brother gave them. They go over the house, where Robert and Erika are going nuts waving towels in the backyard. As the blimp goes to land, Ali gets scared again. They get off and go back to the house. Ali says she had an amazing time and the driver was great. Ali and Jun talk about the blimp ride to Robert and Erika when they get home. Ali and Jun exercise and talk about Erika and that she's not as innocent as she seems. Jun says don't try to pull the wool over her eyes and don't be sneaky. Apparently, it's only OK if SHE does that; nobody else! Jun says, "That bitch from L.A. won last year; we are taking it back to the east coast!" I got a good chuckle out of that one. Erika says Ali is sure Jun hates her and that she trusts her. Ali, however, is hard to predict; even she doesn't know which way she's going! Jun knows that Ali is about strategy and is confident that she will take her. Erika says it will even out with her and Ali because they are friends. Robert says that Ali with the veto is scary. Ali says that you can never tell what she will do. She says she is the unexpected!

So will Alison use the Diamond Veto to save herself? Which of the three women will be evicted? Find out tomorrow night, which I'm also recapping. Don't get too excited; I promise it's not a habit. Besides, it's all about the veto!
