Reality TV has had its share of shows where the goal was to get a job (The Apprentice, The Rebel Billionaire) and shows with people engaging in strange behavior (My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, Joe Schmoe.) Now, CBS's Fire Me... Please! combines turns both these concepts on their head. This time, it's the contestants who are engaging in obnoxious behavior on unsuspecting managers, co-workers, and customers, and their goal is to get themselves fired from their jobs.

The four episode reality TV show will premier on Tuesday, June 7th at 9:00 pm (eastern and pacific) and follow the antics of two people who start new jobs at the same time, with the goal of being fired as close to 3:00 pm without going over.

While the owners of the businesses are in on the gag, their managers, co-workers, and customers aren't. The contestants aren't allowed to break the law, tell people they are on a game show, or ask to be fired, but pretty much anything else goes. This should open the door to whatever creative incompetence, rudeness, and obnoxiousness the contestants can think up to earn their pink slips as close to the deadline as possible.

Hidden cameras will be placed to catch all the action as the contestants start pushing the envelope, then going over it at the strategic moment. Antics shown on previews include contestants knocking over displays, sneezing on their co-workers, stinking up the bathroom, and mouthing off to their boss. Managers and co-workers laugh and then cry as their new hires engage in increasingly bizarre behavior, until the contestants finally hear the magic words of “You're Fired!” The constestant which gets fired as close to 3:00 pm without going over will win a $25,000 cash prize.

The series is hosted by Dave Holmes, who has hosted a number of programs on MTV, and currently has recurring roles on Comedy Central's Reno 911series, as well as guest starring roles on Mad TV. Reality News Online will be providing full coverage of every antic pulled by the contestants over the course of the series.
