Big Brother 6, July 26: The Jedi Council vs. The Sith Lordsby Sandy Lamparello -- 07/27/2005
View Printable version of this article Quick review of what happened last week, and cue the new theme music! Twelve houseguests remain in the house. James and Maggie have been nominated for eviction by HOH Kaysar. Maggie couldn’t talk to Eric, which was all she wanted to do. Eric says this burst everyone’s overall game plan. James expected to be nominated, and was set up by Kaysar perfectly. Sarah says it was a great choice for Kaysar, but a bad choice for her (as James’s secret partner and girlfriend). Kaysar tells us he nominated James and Maggie because he wanted to expose the pairs and break up the strong alliances in the house. Ivette says people’s true colors are coming out and it’s funny how they crack under pressure. She is mad that she wasn’t nominated in James’s place (yeah, that’s what she says to him) and James says the plan is, if he or Maggie are removed by the veto, Ivette will go up. This is a backdoor way to keep Ivette from being saved. It’s all part of Kaysar’s plan to get Eric. Kaysar promised Eric he would not nominate him, so he is going after the people who are closest to him. (It’s called PLAYING THE GAME everyone, which is what you signed up for, remember? Geez…) Maggie cries and says she was so blindsided, she doesn’t want to take it personally but she wasn’t the one who talked s*** and that’s what sucks. Jennifer cries in sympathy and says Kaysar feels bad. Maggie says she kinda thinks he should. In the HOH room, Kaysar tells Janelle he is sorry Maggie took it really hard but he told himself if he got HOH he had to deliver a strong hit and get ruthless. That’s the only way to survive, but James is his friend, or at least he was. Janelle seems upset by the nomination process too. Eric knocks on the HOH room door, and comes in to talk to Kaysar. He asks if Kaysar is alright, and Kaysar says no as he wipes his eyes. Eric tells him to remember this is a game, calls him “Brother” several times, and asks again if he is OK. Kaysar says he is shaken up, it was a tough decision to make, and that it was a rough night. Eric tells him that if Kaysar asks Eric to play for veto he will give it everything he has and will honor Kaysar’s decision. He swears on his children’s names (I’m having Survivor: Vanuatu flashbacks… isn’t that one of the things that lost Twila the million dollars?) that he is telling the truth. In the diary room, Eric reminds us of the deal he made with Kaysar when he was HOH, and says he is a man of his word and will not get involved in changing Kaysar’s nominations. He tells Kaysar to relax, calls him “Brother” again, gives him a hug, and reminds him it’s a game. Back in the diary room, Eric says he is in a hard spot because he has to honor his deal with Kaysar even though his secret partner Maggie is nominated. Outside, Maggie asks Eric why he didn’t tell her that he had made a deal with Kaysar not to compete. Eric says he did tell her that Kaysar asked him to honor his decisions and Maggie says that she didn’t know that meant he couldn’t compete. Eric seems frustrated, and Maggie tells him it’s okay. In the diary room, Maggie says Eric made an agreement with Kaysar, she respects him for sticking to his word, and she would never judge him for doing that, whether it hurts her or not. In the HOH room, Sarah tells Kaysar that James is mad because he trusted Kaysar. Kaysar says he doesn’t want James to go. Sarah says, “We’ll see.” Kaysar sees James walking down the hall on the spy screen and says, “He’s pissed.” James knocks on the door and Sarah asks if Kaysar wants her to leave. Kaysar says she probably should as he opens the door to James, who is yelling, “Don’t hide!” He asks what Sarah is doing up there as she leaves the room. James and Kaysar shake hands, Kaysar apologizes and hugs James. James tells him it’s a game and everyone thinks he hates Kaysar. Kaysar tells James that Eric came up and gave him his word, but James says that if Eric wins veto he will take Maggie off the block, no matter what he said. James hopes he has the votes to stay here because Eric will start campaigning against him. Kaysar tells him it’s already started. In the diary room, James says he had an alliance with Eric since day one but now he’s heard Eric is campaigning against him so as far as he’s concerned it’s over with Eric and him. James says the whole house is being thrown into turmoil because nobody trusts anybody. He asks how Howie and Janelle are going to vote, and Kaysar says they are going to vote against James, because they feel threatened. James thinks it’s because they don’t like him. James tells Kaysar, if he gets the veto himself, forget about Ivette and nominate Eric. In the diary room, James says they hate Eric more than Ivette. James thinks that is the way to really shake up the house, to throw up Maggie and Eric. As he leaves, Kaysar asks him not to hold anything against him and James replies, “It’s a game Kaysar, it’s a game!” In the diary room James says his back is against the wall and he has to do whatever it takes to stay in the game. He is going to turn his enemies into his friends. View Printable version of this article |
