Big Brother 6, August 9 Live Feeds: Ivette or Sarah?

by Paris Cosby -- 08/11/2005
It’s time for more confusion in the house as it seems like no one can decide on which houseguest to evict. James is up to more mischief. And, once again, April (right) is losing her mind. Warning: This article contains spoiler information!

I’m back to keep you up to date with all the goings on in the Big Brother house and to remind you that you have a wee bit more time to vote Kaysar back in the house! But let’s get to what happened, shall we?

Rachel is up first and I know, you’re all in shock over that. Yeah, I didn’t think so. Eventually, James wakes up and the others rise as well. It’s just general working out and chit chat though – nothing interesting.

April and Sarah have a little chat by the pool and Sarah is upset that she found out she doesn’t have any friends in the house. April doesn’t understand why Ivette nominated herself. April continues her line of crap, telling Sarah that she and Jennifer had no idea there were alliances in the house and that the two of them were shocked when it all came out. She wants to leave the house with good friends.

Meanwhile, Maggie and Jennifer have a chat and Jennifer thinks it’s hard for Ivette to be up on the block. Maggie thinks their next move has to be to make a deal with Rachel, Howie, and Janelle. Jennifer thinks that people underestimate her because she is quiet, but she really is playing the game.

Back to Sarah and April again. April is saying that she won’t beg James not to nominate her. April also assures Sarah that she won’t be mean to James after she is gone. Maggie arrives to suntan and the talk changes to visitors to the house. April thinks they’ll bring loved ones. Maggie doesn’t. April changes her mind.

April goes on to say that she’ll promise Janelle whatever she wants (outside the house) to get her PB&J pass. She really wants food! Plus she talks about being on the patch and how she only used it once and had a reaction to it.

Inside, James approaches Ivette and asks her to play chess. They move to the Gold Room where he grills her on the argument between herself and April. She denies any argument and says she doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He then says it was with Howie. She still denies any knowledge of an argument.

While Ivette and James continue to play chess, April relays her conversation with Sarah to Maggie and Jennifer. She puts a good spin on it for herself though and says that no matter what she is voting Sarah out this week.

A bit later, Sarah, seeing an opening, tries to get April’s vote and promises her and Jennifer safety for a week if either she or James gets HOH. April doesn’t want to make any promises. She thinks everyone will know that it was her who voted for Ivette because they haven’t been getting along. She wants to talk to Jennifer first.

April is really digging herself in deeper with her conversations with Sarah. She now agrees not to mention any of it to Maggie. She can’t speak for Jennifer though. James enters and April lets him know that she doesn’t trust him. He’s aware. With that, they go to do April’s hair.

Janelle seems to talk some sense into April a bit later on when she says that Kaysar told them to get either James or Sarah out this week. April seems to agree to the plan that they had the week before. It’s determined that Sarah only needs one vote to stay. I’m not quite sure how that’s working out but that’s what’s in her and April’s head right now. April also tells Janelle that if she ever wants to tell her and Jennifer something, to come to her first because Jennifer and Maggie are really close. Is it just me or is April turning into the next James?

The feeds go to fish for a bit and then there is an outside lockdown where the houseguests discuss basically nothing but Howie’s sweaty feet. Ewww!

After a bit of dinner, some more strategizing takes place. April talks to Maggie and says she’ll be the bigger person but doesn’t want to hang out with Ivette because of last night. Janelle and Rachel are figuring out not to trust April. They don’t plan to vote for Ivette this week. They still want to get rid of Sarah.

When Janelle talks to Sarah she basically trashes April, saying she doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. The girl has flip flopped a lot lately. The two girls play some chess. James enters and it’s more chatter about April and how she is scared of Maggie. James asks if Sarah has April’s vote. The answer is no. Janelle says she is sorry. Sarah is tired of people telling her they’re sorry. Janelle calls checkmate and the game comes to an end.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Howie are in the HOH room discussing things. They figure the vote will be 6 – 1 for Sarah leaving and if it isn’t, not to look at them. Howie knows Janelle wants to vote for Ivette to leave and he wonders if Janelle has joined James. Rachel assures him that she hasn’t.

Maggie and Beau enjoy the hot tub and Beau asks Maggie if she spoke to April today. Maggie says that she did a little bit but not much. Beau says that he’s happy to still be in the house. Maggie relates the story of Ivette not being happy that Maggie’s key was away from Eric’s slot. Ugh, enough with the dead Cappy thing. Good God, he’s probably two blocks away at the Hilton. Maggie says she’s not playing the game like Eric did. She’s playing the game her way. FINALLY! In the end, they agree that they hope all goes as planned. (That is, getting rid of Sarah.)
