Bobby Jon had two opportunities on Survivor, and I’ve had two opportunities to ask him questions now about his time there. Some things have changed while others have stayed the same find out which is which by reading on.

RealityNewsOnline: Hello again, Bobby Jon, and thanks for answering these questions for RealityNewsOnline readers! Let’s start with the most obvious question: What made you decide to do Survivor again?

Bobby Jon: Well, being on Survivor is a personal experience that can’t be explained. I could go on-and-on. But when asked to go back on I didn’t hesitate. I was ready for another adventure.

RNO: Did you think going in that you had a chance in Guatemala, or did you expect people to immediately hold a grudge because you already had a shot at the game?

Bobby Jon: I really didn’t know what to expect from the other castaways going in. But I was lucky enough that they did try to get to know me and although I wanted to go further I was proud of how far I got because I could have been gone the first day. So going in I thought I had a chance but there was lots of uncertainties within myself going into the game.

RNO: What did you learn about yourself this time around that you hadn’t gotten out of your first time?

Bobby Jon: I learned that being myself will always get me along in life no matter what.

RNO: How would you compare the two experiences?

Bobby Jon: I would say Palau was more beautiful while Guatemala was more “scenic.” They were both hard but Guatemala was a little tougher.

RNO: How bad off were you in the first couple days, and why were the men in worse condition than the women?

Bobby Jon: I was completely dehydrated, which was very painful because my whole body was in one huge cramp. And honestly I don’t know why the men were in worse condition than the women to begin with. I know it has to do with the anatomy and the make-up of women vs. men. But I couldn’t tell you, I’m not a doctor.

RNO: In my interview with you last season, you said you wouldn’t play by scheming and lying, but by working hard. Yet this season we definitely saw you do a bit of scheming. What changed your mind?

Bobby Jon: Well, it’s like this I’m being given a second chance to compete for a million dollars. So, there is no way I’m going to blow this one. I blew the last one, and didn’t want to blow this one. So, I wanted to not pull back any punches whatsoever.

RNO: With the game behind you, what are your true thoughts about Jamie and Stephenie, both of whom you had problems with?

Bobby Jon: When you’re competing people say things, do things, and you can’t take it to heart. All of us are fine now. We were just trying to play the game.

RNO: What was your initial reaction when you saw Gary pull out the immunity idol? Did you realize you would be going home then?

Bobby Jon: I was shocked when Gary pulled out the idol, but I knew it was a very good move for him. But I also knew that I was going home, there was no doubt in my mind.

RNO: you could do anything differently, what would it have been?

Bobby Jon: I would have probably aligned myself with Judd early in the game. It may not have saved me, but you never know.

RNO: Is there anything else you’d like to tell us about your time(s) on Survivor?

Bobby Jon: It was benefiting inside and out and I was grateful for the opportunity.

RNO: Thanks again, Bobby Jon!
