Big Brother: All-Stars, August 29 Live Feeds – Hot and Heavyby Teeuwynn Woodruff -- 08/30/2006
View Printable version of this article It's Tuesday in the Big Brother house. There are only six houseguests left in the house, and today they're all on slop. My prediction is that there's going to be a lot of lollygagging about the house today. Whee! What's more fun than spending the day watching a sextet of lollygaggers? The houseguests get to sleep in today. Mike Boogie and George make morning trips to use the facilities – well, the toilet, anyway. Neither one of them makes use of the sink or soap on their way back to bed. Gak. Finally, around 10:00 am, Danielle actually wakes up for real. Boys take note! Danielle washes her hands after going to the rest room. Danielle does her usual morning routine before settling outside on the patio. She looks lonesome and pensive. A short while later, Erika gets up for the day. She looks outside, but when she sees Danielle out there, she turns tail and flees back to her HOH room. Meanwhile, Danielle hides behind the couch on the patio to have a cigarette. Guess she's not too proud of her smoking! She must not want her kids to see. After a bit, Danielle begins crying as she smokes. She comes back to the couch and cries some more, burying her face in her old robe. She re-reads a letter she got while she was HOH and cries some more. After a bit she tells her parents she misses them and says, "I'm okay. I just need to get that cry out early in the morning." Danielle sits up and says she can't believe she's in this position in the game – with no one wanting to take her to the final two. Poor Danielle. She must know she's going home and she's a real competitor. I think she hates it that she can't see a way out of this situation. Erika betrayed her and that's that. Danielle stays on the couch, thinking. She apologizes to James' girlfriend, Sarah, saying she tried to keep James in the game. She then lies back and appears to rest or nap for a while. Around 11:30 am, Big Brother wakes the rest of their charges. The house ever-so-slowly comes to life. George gets up for the day and cleans up the kitchen. Erika is listening to her HOH music. Will bugs Janelle a bit while she lies in bed. He accuses her of being grumpy and generally bothers her. It's pretty obvious Janelle doesn't want to get up yet. George makes himself lunch and Erika goes outside to tan. Danielle and George talk about how nothing's happening in the house today until the big five star dinner event this evening. They pause to stare at the screen in the living room because the image has changed from flames to blobs. I'm telling you, there's always something happening in the Big Brother house! Big Brother herds all the houseguests outside for a lockdown. The houseguests hope this means Big Brother will provide them with nice clothes for the big dinner tonight. The houseguests mostly laze around during the outdoor lockdown. Then – big news! – they get to go on an indoor lockdown. The houseguests can hear construction sounds outside and can see just a bit out of the window. They think the producers are building a tent or gazebo for the dinner this evening. Will and Chicken George chat inside about Howie's eviction – Will thinks it was the best one ever on Big Brother – and about the spiders. Will claims he's going to get a spider drunk this evening. Uh-huh. It's a pretty lazy day in the house. Early in the evening, George, Will, Danielle, and Boogie drill each other on Big Brother trivia to prep for the next HOH competition. I guess Will and Boogie don't mind practicing with Danielle because she won't get a chance to compete in that one. Meanwhile, Erika and Janelle are upstairs getting ready for the big dinner. While they're primping Erika says that she thinks Dr. Will is – gasp -- throwing the competitions. She just doesn't think a smart guy who's in shape like him could lose so many competitions in a row. She's right, of course, that Will has thrown almost every competition. Janelle wonders if Chill Town will try to influence jury members by putting monetary pressure on them – presumably by offering to share some money if a member of Chill Town wins. Erika says she doesn't think Will and Boogie would do that. Oh, Erika, sometimes you're just a bit too much like a deer frozen in Boogie's headlights. Janelle says she thinks they would – she's heard them talk about it. The girls then rehash the plan to evict Danielle and how George is right, and that Danielle couldn't have been as drunk as she was acting when she went on her tirade. Erika fishes around a bit with Janelle about being in the final two together. Janelle won't commit. She says the jury is probably angry with Chill Town because they tell the jury members that they're the ones who got them booted. I think Janelle's wrong here. Will, in particular, does a great job of flattering the evicted houseguests while claiming responsibility for their evictions. I think many of them go away feeling like he's a great player and that he respected them so much he had to evict them. The evening continues, with all the houseguests getting ready for their five star dinner now. George is excited because he has a "hot date" tonight. Snork. Janelle convinces Will to let her put some mascara on his eyelashes. He's not sure he'll keep it, but Danielle says it looks good. It's really hard to tell from the feeds how it looks. A little after 8:00 pm, and it's date time! The men go and pick the ladies up and escort them outside. Erika is wearing a tight black dress, and Janelle is wearing a tight red dress and her tiara. Danielle also wears black. They all look pretty. Will has a white shirt and black jacket and Boogie wears a salmon-colored jacket. George is wearing a loud print shirt. The table is pretty and the houseguests are dining on steak and lobster. I think the houseguests are most excited about the nice wine and Dom Perignon champagne though. Mike Boogie makes a lovely toast to the table. He says; "Women, you look enchanting. Men, you look debonair. I think it's wonderful we all have a twice in a lifetime experience. Remember the times like these, because these are the moments that count." The houseguests really dig into the dinner. They're enjoying it! Will wishes they had brought in a string quartet for them. He's right. That would have been a nice touch. The trampoline has been taken away too. Will isn't happy about that. But he still seems to enjoy flirting with Janelle at the table. Janelle even whispers in Will's ear as they toast, "Here's to maybe." Hmmmm… Danielle loves the wine. George loves the food. All in all, it seems a very pleasant dinner. After dinner, Will and Janelle head into the diary room together to ask for more alcohol and probably to do some more flirting. Erika and Boogie hang out beside the diary room door and just make out. Classy, as always. After they get out of the diary room, Janelle changes into her pajamas – but she keeps the tiara on. It's cute. Everyone is buzzed and giggly, and the two couples are very flirtatious. Boogie tells Erika that Will is easy when he's drunk. I wonder how Boogie knows this. 1 2 Next-->View Printable version of this article |
