Up next is Melrose, who the judges agree wasn’t perfect, but all agree that she did a great job. Denis says he could easily direct her and Twiggy goes on to give her great praise. Melrose tells the judges that she was up for two extra hours studying and Tyra says it showed. Amanda is last and it seems like the judges are lukewarm on her commercial. They like the kiss, but feel she fell a bit flat.

Now, it’s time to deliberate, and as the judges do just that, we see the girls in the holding room ganging up on Melrose about her “staying up two extra house” comment. Eugena tells her that she’s just trying to make the others look bad, while Melrose disagrees, but says she is sick of them all. Me-yow!

Here’s what the judges had to say about the girls:

  • Eugena was actually a pleasant surprise this week, showing potential and finally showing vulnerability in her commercial.
  • Melrose had one of the best commercials in top model history, which I disagree with, and Nigel says that she sold him on the product, but he still feels that she looks a bit old.
  • Jaeda prepared them on how badly she was going to do, and lived up to it. She can’t act, but she has amazing bone structure.
  • Michelle was awful, and Nigel says that Amanda is beginning to be the twin to watch. Tyra disagrees and feels that Michelle looked radiant.
  • I’d tell you what the judges said about Amanda, but my dog started peeing on the floor and I had to run and tend to that quickly, missing what they said.
  • All the judges felt like MY CariDee rested for this photo shoot and really didn’t pull through. She might feel that she has been doing so well and doesn’t have to worry, but she better think twice.

The girls enter the room again and face the judges. The first name that Tyra calls is… Melrose! When handing her the photo, Tyra tells Melrose that staying up those extra hours really paid off. Cue the eye roll from Eugena to Michelle! The next girl called is Eugena, who Tyra says is doing well in Barcelona. She tells Eugena that the judges see a new light in her and they like it. Amanda is called next and told that her commercial “wasn’t so dreadful” but they want her to be amazing. She’s followed by Michelle, who Tyra says looked great in the commercial and has a spunk and fire about her, but has to show that on camera.

Jaeda and MY CariDee step forward. Tyra says she only has one photo and the girl not called will need to pack her bags and go home. MY CariDee is told that she is the girl that is always so full of life and takes great photos. The judges love her – until today. Tyra says that one of the prizes is being a CoverGirl, and they aren’t sure that she can deliver a commercial. Jaeda is told that she has had nine lives. She has been in the bottom two more than once, and the judges are beginning to doubt her passion, but they love her bone structure. However, they need more. You think? Tyra asks which girl should go home? The girl who the judges don’t think can deliver a commercial or the girl who needs more time? Tyra pulls out MY CariDee’s photo and says that she feels MY CariDee can deliver a commercial. She gets her photo saying she has never been so happy to see herself.

Tyra gives Jaeda a hug and sends her on her way. Jaeda tells the camera that she thinks she can do this now, and has much more confidence. She wasn’t happy to be sent home and doesn’t want to leave, but will put a positive spin on things and keep going. It took her a long time to get over her hair, but is faithful that things will work out in the end for her. I wish she would love her hair – everyone else does!

Next week, the girls will do their go-sees! At the photo shoot, it looks like MY CariDee will be making an enemy, and it looks like Nigel! We also see her getting scolded by Tyra for saying something rude. This can’t be good. I knew they were setting her up for failure so that Melrose can win. It’s a conspiracy! Here’s how I rate the girls for next week:

  • Melrose
  • Amanda
  • Eugena
  • MY CariDee
  • Michelle

Looks like it’s time to finally say goodbye to one of the twins. Oh, and not to gloat or anything, but I pegged it right – Jaeda got the boot and that’s who I predicted. Am I good, or is the show that predictable? Let me know what you think.
