Celebrity Fit Club: Men vs. Women Finale – Bother’s Day

by Tyler Sandersfeld -- 06/20/2007
The time has come. One team will win the grand prize worth a whole lot of moolah. The other team will at least have lost a good amount of weight. Everyone, however, will win one major prize: NO MORE SCREECH!

Previously on The Dustin Diamond Show, seven inspirational stories of health and progress were overshadowed by one man’s quest to turn all cameras on himself while turning every cast member against him.

The final episode of this moving and trying season begins on Day 99. That’s right, folks. The celebs arrive at Harvey’s House to compete in the same four events as the first Fit Camp to see how much they have improved. Of course, Screech “would rather eat a turd than come back to another Fit Camp.” I’m not surprised, since nothing but crap has come out of his mouth all season. Anyway, in the case of a tie at the giant scales, the most improved team at this Fit Camp will win the tiebreaker.

The first three events (obstacle course, long jump, and quarter mile) are glossed over pretty quickly. However, two celebs stand out in a good way. The Athletes’ Maureen McCormick and the Regulators’ Cledus T. Judd had quite a few problems at the first Fit Camp, as well as throughout the later Fit Camps. Now, they are the most improved.

Maureen improves by seven seconds on the obstacle course, a whole foot on the long jump, and fifteen seconds on the quarter mile run. Cledus helps his team greatly by improving ten seconds on the course and 21 seconds on the quarter mile. He also improves by a foot on the long jump, though Warren shatters records with a thirteen-inch improvement! This helps make up for Kim and Brat doing worse on the long jump, as the Regulators lead the day so far.

Finally, the celebs hope to improve their stair climb records. Well, one’s not all that enthused. I don’t need to tell you who it is. The red women climb first. Tiffany finishes 14 flights, while Maureen conquers 15! Brat and Kim of the Regulators show off a little by jogging all of their flights. However, they only complete 10 flights each.

The day is coming to a close, so all four men climb at once. Ross, Warren, and Cledus hope to at least double their first day numbers. Screech, on the other hand, only completes four flights before quitting. He claims to have been sick for three weeks following that. Funny, he didn’t look physically sick for the first few episodes. He says he has shows in Boca Raton, so he doesn’t want to wear himself out. His team tries to convince him not to give up. “It’s not giving up. It’s quitting.” Oh, like that makes the situation better.

Normally, I go into as much detail as possible on every situation. However, I’m just so fed up with Screech at this point that I’m just going to make this quick. Maureen is ticked. Tiffany is ticked. Harvey is ticked. Screech thinks everyone’s reality is twisted, and threatens not to show up at the weigh-in. Ross tries to talk some sense into Screech in futility. Brat has a case pending, so she’ll get someone to rough him up. I get a migraine. Let’s get to the weigh-in.

Finally, it’s Day 100. Fit Camp is coming to a close. I will really miss seven of the eight Fit Clubbers. I might go into Ian, Stacy, and especially Harvey withdrawal. ANT is on the Last Comic Standing panel, so I’ll be seeing more than enough of him. Ross says, “You all look beautiful. I was talking to Cledus.” Give this guy a talk show now!

First to finalize her weight is Da Brat. Actually, this week it’s more like Da Bomb! When did she get so beautiful? She even does a sexy model walk to the CWAP! Last time, Brat weighed 151 lbs., 6 lbs. shy of her season goal. Brat’s final weight is 146 lbs. She misses the goal by a single pound, but there’s no qualms about it. She lost 26 lbs. overall, 15.1% of her starting weight. Brat wants to keep it off since she loves her new look.

Stacy saw Brat’s sensitive side, which leads to a flashback. Brat has written a rap about her appreciation of Fit Club and has invited her team to join in. After all, Kim, Cledus, and Warren are all musicians. The rap isn’t half bad. It could be the new theme song for the show. Hey, it can’t be worse than One Piece.

Back at the weigh-in, Brat gets a special gift of her own – a video from Jermaine Dupri. This gets Brat very emotional, as she considers JD to be a “brother separated at birth.” Harvey reminds Brat of the not-so-little confrontation between the two on the very first day. Brat apologizes for that. Wow. Harvey has so much respect for Brat now. The two hug it out. I always liked you, Brat. Can you give me a hug, too? We see Brat’s transformation, which includes a 14.6% loss of body fat.

Next up is Tiffany. I’m not exactly liking that teal number on her, though. Last time, Tiffany weighed 131 lbs., 4 lbs. shy of her season goal. Her final weight is 124 lbs. That’s not a typo – she lost 7 lbs. for this weigh-in! Overall, Tiffany has shed 28 lbs., equal to 18.4% of her starting weight. If she loses just one more pound, she’ll be at her Playboy weight. However, Tiffany reveals that getting to that Playboy figure was not without a few tricks. This time, she did it the healthy way.

When her husband asked, “Where did your booty go?” she said, “I gave it to Harvey.” He’s certainly enjoying it, as he says, “My eyeballs haven’t felt this good since I was 19 and getting off a boat in the Phillippines.” And just like that, her season is over. I wish we got to know her better. We do know that she lost 6.9% of her body fat.
