Big Brother 10, August 13 Live Feeds: Dan Makes a Move?by Jeff Gettemy -- 08/14/2008
View Printable version of this article The houseguests wake up around 10 o’clock today, and they do their usually morning routines. There is a lot of small talk between the houseguests, and making themselves presentable for the day. The houseguests talk of celebrities, and twists that could be coming. April lets Libra know that she wants to talk to her later. The rest of the morning passes with the nominees packing and Dan burning slop on the stove. Michelle gets the camera for her Head of Household pictures, and goes around the house snapping some photos. April and Ollie talk about scenarios for next week. They believe that the worst-case scenario is one of them being nominated against Jerry. They believe that the house will not nominate them against each other, and Libra says as long as Jerry is up, he can get Dan and Renny to vote out Jerry. They also believe a double-eviction will be coming up soon. April says that if she goes out, Ollie better get revenge on the player (my term, hers is not appropriate) who gets her evicted. He says he will, and she says that will be his engagement present to her. That is nauseating. Memphis and Dan discuss bars and family. Renny and Keesha join them, and Renny and Dan start joking with each other. Renny jokes about Dan voting against her week one. Dan comes back by sating that vote brought them closer, and then says he hopes she doesn’t break a hip. Feeds are pretty boring most of the afternoon. Everyone is getting ready for their Late Late Show appearance. Dan and Ollie discuss Jerry’s speech at the veto ceremony, and Dan says it accomplished nothing. Ollie says that Jerry believe he proved a point. They wonder if Jerry would flip out on Ollie if he saw that he was talking to Dan. Dan points out that he did the exact same thing in week one, and they agree that Jerry wouldn’t understand their point if they brought it up to him, so what is the point. Ollie says he admires the way that Dan handled Jerry during the speech. The feeds go down for their interview with Craig Ferguson, and when they return, they are preparing slop chips for dinner. Memphis and Michelle are discussing the vote. Michelle believes it will be either 6-0 or 5-1. Memphis asks where the one vote is coming from, Michelle responds by saying either America’s Player is going to strike, or maybe someone will throw a vote in just to mess with people’s heads. Keesha joins Michelle as Memphis heads inside. Michelle believes Keesha is safe. They can’t think of anyone who would vote to keep Libra, but they want to know why April wants to talk to Libra later. Keesha says she believes Memphis, Renny, and Dan. She says the only way she believes Dan would vote to evict Keesha is if he is America’s player. Renny joins them and says Keesha needs to stop worrying. April talks to Libra and tells her that if she can get Dan to vote out Keesha, they will save her. Libra pulls Dan into the storage room and asks him if he would be open to the idea. Dan says he is open to it, but he needs some names and some reason to do it, because it makes him a target. Libra doesn’t give him names, but says if he thinks about it, he would be able to figure it out. He wants to think about it and will get back with her. He leaves and Ollie walks in to ask Libra how it went. She says that he was open to it, but he needed names and some assurances, that it will be a move that benefits him in the game. Ollie says that they aren’t sure they can trust him not to tell Michelle if they give him names. April and Ollie are in a bedroom with Michelle, and they discuss Dan. Michelle says that she thinks Dan will try and sway them to vote out Keesha. This is hilarious since it has been less than five minutes since they tried to flip Dan. The next few hours are spent with April, Ollie, Michelle, and Jerry talking about Dan while shooting pool. Nothing new is said that hasn’t been said 5000 times. They do discuss that they are praying for a double-eviction this week, and then they bring Jessie back. They are so stupid. Meanwhile Dan, Memphis, Keesha, and Renny talk about movies and music. Libra comes in and makes a comment about how she didn’t say anything about any of them in her diary room session. When this happens, Big Brother does what he always does, and says: “houseguests, you are not allowed to talk about your diary room session.” The reason I bring this up is because when this happens, Jerry makes a comment outside to April, Ollie, and Michelle that this proves they can’t trust Libra because she is inside talking about her diary room session to the other group. Michelle immediately catches this and says why does it matter if you can trust her because she is going home tomorrow. April tries to indiscreetly get Jerry to shut up before he says something to incriminate them for trying to keep Libra. Michelle lets it go, and figures it was just Jerry being Jerry.
