by Jeff Gettemy -- 08/15/2008
It’s eviction day in the house. Are there any surprises? How does the house react to the results of the HOH competition? Who is the likely target, just moments after the new HOH is chosen, and who will feel like its Christmas? Find out inside. Warning: This article contains spoiler information!

The houseguests are up early at 10:00 this morning. They make breakfast and speculate about what the Head of Household competition will be. Michelle, April, Ollie, and Jerry discuss that every day there is a competition, the music used to wake up the houseguests relates to the competition. Today’s song was “Dirty Little Secret,” so they think they will be answering questions about the secrets of the evicted houseguests. Michelle helps Ollie, April, and Jerry study by asking them true/false questions about the evicted houseguests.

The houseguests get locked down in the Head of Household bedroom, and they chat about sex and movies. At 12:15 they are released and immediately split up into their different sides. They start to clean and then get ready for the live show. The feeds go to trivia for a couple hours, and don’t return until after the live show.

When the feeds return, we find that Renny has won the Head of Household competition and Libra has been evicted. April, Ollie, and Jerry go to their bedroom and don’t have anything to say. Dan, Renny, Memphis, Keesha, and Michelle celebrate in the sauna room. Memphis says it’s like Christmas in the Big Brother house. Dan says that as soon as he saw that the first three people eliminated were April, Jerry, and Ollie, he knew they were going to have a good week. They all agree that at that point it didn’t matter who won because their side was going to have the power this week.

Ollie and April don’t think Renny will put both of them up. They expect Jerry to be on the block with one of them. April says that whichever one of them is not nominated will need to win the veto competition so they can both stay in the house.

Dan and Keesha discuss the competition. Dan tells Keesha about what Libra approached him with last night (the possibility of getting him to vote out Keesha along with three other people). They don’t know if Libra really had the votes or not.

They discuss nominations and Dan wonders if he would be the replacement nominee if Ollie or April wins veto. Keesha says no way, it will be Jerry, and if he wins veto and takes one off, then Michelle will go up. Dan is wondering about it because Renny questions him a lot about his loyalty. Keesha says that Renny likes to give Dan a hard time, but she knows who is on her side and who isn’t. Memphis joins them and they discuss how much better they are handling the win then April, Ollie, and Jerry did last week. They all agree that no one deserves HoH more then Renny.

Around 9:15, Renny gets her Head of Household room and everyone comes to see it. Renny is carrying tissues into the room because she is ready to cry. The door is open about two seconds before she sees a picture of her mom and indeed does start to cry. It’s a very touching moment. April starts kissing up to Renny approximately five seconds after that, ruining the moment.

Renny’s CD is Ella Fitzgerald, and Ollie asks who that is. Keesha has also never heard of her. Shortly after everyone leaves the bedroom, the houseguests are locked down outside. They all wonder why, because that is not normal at this time.

They get to go back in after 20 minutes and there are presents stacked on the counter. There is a note addressed to April. The boxes are her outfits that she won in last week’s veto competition. Wow, Memphis was right – it really is Christmas! After she opens all her boxes, Dan and Memphis leave, and they discuss using this against April. (After all, April had been using Memphis winning the car against him previously.)

Memphis gets in the sauna and Keesha joins him. He starts talking about how April doesn’t even appreciate the clothes and how it is only bugging him because he won the competition and picked the wrong card. He continues railing on April, and then Dan joins them. Dan says he thinks Keesha would look nice in one of the dresses April got. They have already begun to use the clothes to clinch April’s fate.

Renny and Michelle go upstairs. Renny wants to know if anyone wanted her out. Michelle says Jessie is the only person she knows. Renny wants to know who is the biggest threat. Renny then says April has a huge target on her back because she is the head of a group of three. Renny continues by saying she likes Michelle, but she is a tough competitor. She asks if Michelle will nominate her next week. Michelle says she will swear on her parents that she is not going after Renny. Renny then tells Michelle that if they go to the final two together, she would want Michelle to win.
