“This Is How He Repays Me?” – An Interview with Big Brother 10’s Keesha

In this interview with Keesha, I asked her about topics ranging from her last few days in the house all the way back to shortly after she entered. Why didn’t her alliance with April last? Why did she target Angie and Jessie? What does she think of Memphis turning on her? Read on to find out!

RealityNewsOnline: First, let me say thanks for taking the time to talk to us here at RealityNewsOnline! How surprised are you to have been evicted instead of Jerry?

Keesha: At the beginning of the week I would have been shocked, but by the end I had a good idea.

RNO: Do you feel betrayed by Memphis?

Keesha: Absolutely, I am hurt by what Memphis has done to me. I feel like I always had his back and he wouldn’t even be in that house if it weren’t for me, and this is how he repays me?

RNO: Do you think Memphis planned this for a while, or only decided after winning the veto this week?

Keesha: I would hope that Memphis just decided this after winning the veto.

RNO: Why do you think Memphis decided to vote you out?

Keesha: I think that Memphis was threatened by my relationship with Dan.

RNO: Looking back, what was your strategy coming into the house, and how did that change once you got there?

Keesha: It’s funny because you really have no idea what you are about to get into and before I went into the house I figured that I would just try to get along with everyone and not cause any waves. This changed after the first week when I had a huge fight with April. I guess that plan didn’t work out so well.

RNO: What were your own shifts in allies as the game went on, and how did those changes happen?

Keesha: I actually started out having an alliance with Libra and April that didn’t work out so well, so I only had Renny at one point in time. My relationship with Renny wasn’t really an alliance – I just liked her so much that I wasn’t going to let her go anywhere if I had any control over it. I began becoming very close with Memphis and also Dan. I knew Renny and I couldn’t do it alone so that’s when I brought Dan and Memphis into the mix of things. I figured with the four of us we could get far.

RNO: Going back a few weeks, can you walk me through the reasoning behind your targeting of Angie? Why did you target her when she had been one of Steven’s friends in the house?

Keesha: I targeted Angie because I felt that Angie was a very smart girl in this game. I knew that the guys would never put Angie out of the house and that they would probably carry her through for as long as possible, so I had to get rid of her while I could.

RNO: Also a few weeks back, what changed your mind so much about Jessie that you nominated but protected him one week, then went against the HOH’s wishes to evict him the next?

Keesha: I never really had a problem with Jessie until he got into a huge fight with me on my birthday. Jessie would make up lies just to start fights between me and other houseguests. Jessie was so dramatic.

RNO: What caused the break-up of your alliance with April?

Keesha: I couldn’t trust April and I knew it after a short while of being in the house. April would have never wanted me to make it to the end.

RNO: If you had made it to the final two, do you think you could have beaten all of the remaining guys?

Keesha: Maybe, I think I would have had a chance.

RNO: If you could go back in time, what choices would you make differently?

Keesha: I wouldn’t have trusted Memphis so much and I would have evicted him when given the chance.
