Big Brother 6, September 3 - It's My Turn to Cryby Sandy McFarland -- 09/04/2005
View Printable version of this article Previously on Big Brother 6, after weeks of being targeted by the entire house, James' luck finally ran out and he was evicted from the Big Brother house. At the Head of Household competition, the Sovereign Two took back the power, but moments later a surprise announcement shocked the house, a double eviction! Howie set his sights on the final pair putting Ivette and Beau up for eviction. Julie Chen welcomes us to a Special Edition of Big Brother 6 and reminds us that Howie's time as Head of Household is coming to an end as it's been a double eviction week. After telling us everything I already mentioned in the previous paragraph, she first wants to find out how James' departure affected the remaining houseguests. We see a replay of James getting evicted from the Big Brother house. In the diary room, April says that in a way, she is everyone's hero at this point, just because James was such a hard player to get rid of. Beau says they had to get James out this week or see him in the final two. James would have vetoed his way off of the block every single time. Ivette says that James was one of the first people she connected with that walked into the house, and at one point became one of her enemies. Through all of that they were still able to remain friends. All in all, April says it was her full responsibility that James went up on the block. She thinks the house is very, very happy with her decision, with the exception of Ivette. Ivette tells the diary room that a sympathy vote was not going to tell James how much she loved him or how much she cared about him. We see a flashback of Ivette covering her eyes and voting to evict James. With James evicted, there were now six houseguests, and the power was up for grabs. We see a flashback of the Head of Household competition with Julie Chen announcing Howie as the new Head of Household. April says it was really sad to see Howie winning, and just wishes that someone from the Fiendship group would have won. "It means one of us is going home." Dammit, Ivette tells the diary room. She has her own bowling ball and loves to bowl. (The Head of Household competition involved rolling a bowling ball down a plank.) She truly could taste being HOH. It was almost like it was meant for her to get it. She's dumbstruck! Howie shares that last time he had Head of Household he let the Nerd Herd walk all over him. Hopefully this time he will make the right decisions, and hold on to the football for another week. Ivette, April, Maggie, and Beau sit in the living room. Ivette is crying and angry. She doesn't know why she can't get blessed! Why can't she get the strength that these people continue to have? Beau tells the diary room that Ivette took losing HOH very hard, she is the only person that hasn't had it and she thought today was her day. Ivette continues to whisper, "There is nothing that would give Janelle more pleasure than to send us home!" Ivette's not upset at all that Howie stayed rather than James. She does regret not sending Janelle home, saying, "Janelle has the worst soul I've ever seen in a human being.” We flashback to Thursday night’s Nomination Ceremony with Howie putting Ivette and BoBo up for eviction. Ivette says when Howie was told he had to pick right away, she looked at him and said it was ok. She knew he had to put them up because they were the last couple in the house. Howie tells the diary room that it was a difficult decision, especially live. The clock was ticking, he was rushed, and it was tough. Beau says that being nominated wasn't a surprise at all to him. Beau had put Howie and Rachel up. Howie had to get rid of the last pair. Howie and Janelle walk into the kitchen. She tells him he did the right thing in nominating Ivette and Beau. Janelle tells the diary room she had discussed with Howie who they should go after and says, "Beau is obviously much too physical, and Ivette just annoys the living crap out of me! (Heh, heh... me too!) Who wants to see Howie's Head of Household bedroom for the second time? Howie is excited as hell! They walk into his room and Howie's face lights up like a Christmas tree when he spots his brand spankin' new Star Wars light sabers. He and Janelle immediately turn them on and start sword fighting. Ivette looks at the new photo he received, and with barely a glance he says, "Super, that's my college roommate and my sister." He loves BB! Janelle thinks the light sabers are a great toy for Howie and says, "Yeah, they're a bit nerdy and stuff, but I thinks it cute that he's such a big fan." Howie insists on turning the lights off so he can see his sabers glowing. Beau says Howie was like a little kid again. In the dark he was sword fighting. Maggie admits to being a dork because she wants one too! She likes toys and those are neat! Howie warns the non-Jedis to be careful as a light saber could take their foot off! The Fiendship gathers in the patchwork room. Ivette whines that her biggest disappointment is that she didn't get HOH. Maggie says one of them could win the veto. April says they have the choice to send whomever home, as the votes will be two of them, to one. April tells the diary room that it is easier for Howie to put Ivette and Beau up, rather than her having to do it later in the game. With Howie getting HOH it only means that Janelle won't be going home, which just gets underneath her skin. 1 2 3 4 5 Next-->View Printable version of this article |
