Pandas: WWF or WWE?, by Susan Schechter: If you do not follow news about professional wrestling closely, you may have wondered about some recent comments in Mike DeGeorge’s WWF Tough Enough 2 articles regarding the WWF changing their name to the WWE. Let’s bring you up to date. WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 11: Back to Wrestling, by Mike DeGeorge: After a disgusting episode last week, Tough Enough 2 came through with an enjoyable one this week. Go figure. If this show had a thesis statement, it would be that you can be in the best shape of your life, you can be the world’s strongest man, have the best physique, but if you can’t wrestle and don’t have a personality, you’re gonna suck in the WWF. And they cut two more to prove it. WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 10: Just Call it the Freaking ‘Real World’, by Mike DeGeorge: One contestant leaves – but the reason is left hidden. Another has a one-night stand. And Mike finally blows up at MTV and the producers of this show, scorching the computer screens of anybody who reads this article. WWF Tough Enough 2: No Episode, So Here’s Some News, by Mike DeGeorge: Well, there was no WWF Tough Enough episode broadcast last week, which was kind of surprising news. But anyway, here are some updates on contestants from both seasons 1 and 2. WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 9: The WWF Plays Sun City, by Mike DeGeorge: It's time for a trip. The crew head out to Sun City, South Africa, for more practice (well, a little, anyway), sight-seeing, and a close shave. WWF Tough Enough 2, Second Quarterly Review; or The Alicia and the Ecstasy, by Dale Sherman: Dale is back to give us an overview of what has happened in the past four episodes on WWF Tough Enough. What was good, what was bad, and who was just plain evil? (Hint on the last part, look to the right.) WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 8: Why Not Show Some Wrestling for a Change?, by Mike DeGeorge: Just as things are at their lowest, last season’s winners, Maven and Nidia, come back to give the current contestants a spark. And even more importantly, the new folks actually learn some new wrestling moves! WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 7: Are We Gonna Talk About Wrestling Sometime Today?, by Mike DeGeorge: The hot tub activity comes to a boil, but will Jackie regret it in the morning? Will Pete take "no" for an answer? Does anybody really care about this crap or would they rather watch some contestants learn how to wrestle?! Sheesh. WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 6: How Can We Miss You If You Won’t Go Away?, by Mike DeGeorge: The contestants get down and boogie. But wait, this isn't Real World -- what's going on here? Well, there is a little wrestling, when Y2J shows up, but mostly it's crying, whining, and drunken debauchery as we say goodbye to two more contestants. WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 5: Field Trip!, by Mike DeGeorge: We lose another contestant to injury, and then the rest of 'em are off on a field trip -- to ringside seats at Raw! They also do some promos to see who has the personality to stick around. WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 4: Personality Parade, by Mike DeGeorge: There's a focus on personality in this episode. Mostly it's personality clashes -- Alicia vs. Jessie is the lead match-up of the day. But all of them are tested by the Dudley Boys for their wrestling personalities. And one of them gets the boot. WWF Tough Enough 2 First Quarterly Report: The Valley of the Tough Enough 2, by Dale Sherman: It's time to take a look back at the first quarter of WWF Tough Enough 2. How have the contestants gotten along? How does this series compare to the first one? And what about that Alicia? WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 3: Moons Over Los Angeles, by Mike DeGeorge: With two contestants gone, you'd think the others would be fighting to stay. Most are, but then there's Alicia, the poor thing. Hawk is suffering in other ways. But why are they all standing around without their pants? WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 2: Double Trouble, by Mike DeGeorge: Aaron had collapsed in the previous episode -- is he okay? Is it his own fault? And, most importantly, does he stay on the show? In other news, Linda is pushy but so is The Big Show (shown at right, with Matt), who comes for a visit. And two -- count 'em, two -- people are given the boot. WWF Tough Enough 2, Episode 1: Danny’s Back, But Who’s Out?, by Mike DeGeorge: Yes, it's true -- The Danimal is back even though he didn't make the final cut. So who is out? And who won't be able to make it through the obstacle course in this first episode of Tough Enough 2? WWF Tough Enough 2: The Casting Special , by Mike DeGeorge & Dale Sherman: We've been leading up to it all week -- it's time for WWF Tough Enough 2 to begin. This week, it's the casting special.
