Amazing Race 2

Amazing Race 2 Finale, Part 2: And the Winner Is…, by Susan Schechter: After racing around the world in planes, buses, cars, boats -- you name it, it all comes down to a footrace. Will and Tara lead the pack, but can they finish it off?

Amazing Race 2 Finale, Part 1: Almost There, by Susan Schechter: It's the second-to-last leg of the race. The three final teams must race against each other to get good position for the final leg. A mistake now could cost them that first-place position as they head back to the U.S. and land in Hawaii.

Breaking the Stereotype: Oswald & Danny, Truly Nice People , by Phil Kural: All too often, gay men on reality TV have come across as snotty, manipulative, or worse. Finally, Amazing Race 2 gave us a team who would shatter that stereotype.

RNO Roundtable: Amazing Race 2 Predictions & Looking Back , by RealityNewsOnline Staff: Jeffrey Clinard, Peggy Keller, Phil Kural, and Susan Schechter take a shot at looking both forward and back as they discuss this second running of The Amazing Race. Who will win? Who should win? Let's see what they have to say.

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 11, by Jeffrey Clinard: They're down to the final three -- but how did they get there? What was thinking smart, and what wasn't? Also, since we're talking about smart plays, let's take a look back and see who made the best use of a fast forward.

Amazing Race 2, Episode 11: Enjoy the Moments, and the Sheep, by Susan Schechter: It's the final elimination round -- who will be in the final three and who will miss by mere minutes? More importantly, how will they all handle the pressure?

Amazing Race 2: Interview with Cyndi & Russell, by Susan Schechter: Cyndi and Russell, the married pastors on The Amazing Race 2, are more than just a couple of reverends. Find out all about them, what they thought of the race, the best parts, the worst parts, their suggestions for future contestants, and much more in this interview with Susan Schechter!

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 10, by Jeffrey Clinard: We're running a little late, but let's take a look at what was smart and what was not back in Episode 10, the last non-elimination round before the final three.

Amazing Race 2, Episode 10: Jumping Ahead, by Jeffrey Clinard: With only four teams left, every minute should count, but some of them are getting too weary. Lucky for them, this was not an elimination round. However, there were leaps of faith and all the black sheep were out as they raced into New Zealand.

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 8 & 9, by Jeffrey Clinard: A double-sized episode saw teams go from the Far East to Down Under. Five teams started out from Hong Kong and ended up in the outback of Australia. Four teams remain. This double-sized episode contains double sized analysis as to what was, and what was not, thinking smart in The Amazing Race.

Amazing Race 2, Episodes 8 & 9: The Blame Game, by Jeffrey Clinard: It was a two-for-one night on Amazing Race 2. First was a non-elimination round, but the second hour meant somebody was going home. What happened to Gary and Dave? How did they go from first to worst in just one night of television? And what's the deal with Danny and Oswald shopping?

Amazing Race 2, Episode 8: Follow the Directions, by Susan Schechter: Following directions seems like it would be a fairly easy task. Yet in The Amazing Race, it's of paramount importance. So what happened when two teams failed to follow directions, and another team got better directions than anybody else? Read on to find out.

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 7, by Jeffrey Clinard: From Thailand to Hong Kong, six teams battled their way to the top of Center Plaza, around Hong Kong, the shipyards, and finally to a junk in Hong Kong harbor. Two teams tried to Fast Forward, one person vomited, and yet another wanted to vomit on Phil's shoes. With all that happening, what was thinking smart in week 7?

Amazing Race 2, Episode 7: Tall Buildings and Bad Tea, by Susan Schechter: The ugly hats are gone, nerves are fried, the skyline of Hong Kong looks beautiful, and Gary waxes poetic about the Fast Forward. What else happened in the seventh episode? You’ll have to read on to find out.

Amazing Race 2, Episode 6: Where’s My Elephant?, by Susan Schechter: The contestants face a long train ride without air conditioning, elephant washing, ugly hats, and raft river races. How will the positions change as they make their way through Thailand?

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 6, by Jeffrey Clinard: Week six was not an elimination leg, and the tension in these episodes is always less. From a flower market to old bridge, travels by raft or elephant, and then wash an elephant to make it to the checkpoint. So what was thinking smart in episode 6?

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 5, by Jeffrey Clinard: From Africa to Thailand, the remaining teams set out to continue the race. The natural bottleneck of airports and flights gave all of the teams an equal start once they arrived in Thailand. From there on out, it was a race to see who could think smart and get ahead.

Amazing Race 2, Episode 5: Holy Batcave, Robin!, by Susan Schechter: This episode brings the teams to Thailand, where the boys duke it out, religion is brought up over and over again, and ugly hats take on a life of their own.

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 4, by Jeffrey Clinard: There was a single separator/equalizer in this week's episode: the charter flight. Four teams, including Wil & Tara, gained a three-hour time advantage over the remaining teams. Who made the smart moves this time, and who didn't?

Amazing Race 2, Episode 4: Good Night Sweet Princes, by Susan Schechter: The fourth episode of Amazing Race 2 takes the contestants to... sand. Lots and lots of sand. Walking up sand, sliding down sand, and, for one team, getting stuck in the sand.

An Evening with Shola, Doyin, and Hillary of The Amazing Race 2, by Susan Schechter: While most of us were at home watching The Amazing Race in our own living rooms, Susan Schechter was watching it with Shola and Doyin (the twins) and Hillary (the daughter in the mother/daughter team). Find out how the twins took their loss and what kind of people they really are as Susan describes her Amazing evening.

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 3, by Jeffrey Clinard: From South America to Africa, the remaining nine teams raced on land, sea, and air to get to their final destination: a plantation in South Africa. Another team was eliminated, and the rest jockeyed for position in this leg. Who was thinking smart this week? And who wasn't?

Amazing Race 2, Episode 3: Gutsy Grannies’ Goodbye, by Susan Schechter: Once again, we see the airport act as an equalizer -- and, indeed, a mixmaster. The lead changes hands as players run for ferries and search for sheeps' heads. But in the end, it's time to say goodbye to the Gutsy Grannies.

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 2, by Jeffrey Clinard: Three teams went for the Fast Forward in episode 2 -- was this smart thinking or poor planning? And what about the transportation bottlenecks? How should the smart team handle these potential problems? Who was smart, and who wasn't, in episode 2?

Amazing Race 2, Episode 2: Come Sail Away With Me, by Susan Schechter: The first team is gone and the others have to keep moving. From a boat to a bar to a hang glider to a bunch of breaking-down buses, the ten remaining teams do their best to avoid being last. Who made it and who didn't?

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart in Week 1, by Jeffrey Clinard: Eleven teams set off on the second Amazing Race, but one is already gone. What did the mother/daughter team do wrong where the other teams got it right? Who was thinking smart? And who just wasn't thinking?

Amazing Race 2, Episode 1: It’s All Downhill, by Susan Schechter: It's time for eleven new teams to tackle The Amazing Race. From the moment they get to the airport until they hit the first pit stop, it's up, down, and all around. But for the ones who fell behind (and even those who didn't), it was all downhill.

Amazing Race 2: Thinking Smart Before the Race, by Jeffrey Clinard: On the last series of Amazing Race, I wrote up articles each week on how to think smart to remain in the game, and ultimately win. Some teams did well because they thought things out; others did poorly because they refused to use their heads. So what does thinking smart mean in The Amazing Race? What can these teams do to duplicate the win of Rob and Brennan last year?

Amazing Race 2: A Preview, by Susan Schechter: With the new teams for Amazing Race 2 announced, we can take a look at the strengths and weaknesses of each, and perhaps even make some predictions. Will it be the grandmothers, the twins, the mother/daughter, the pastors? Or will one of the others win the race?
