And yes, Laura puts in her usual two cents on the proceedings. When all is said and done, who made the cut?
Cupid, Episode 2: Shooting Arrows in Men’s Hearts, by Bruce Barker: Our trio heads to New York and Los Angeles, where they encounter breakdancers, street hustlers, poets, exotic piercings, men in chain mail, men with swords, and bagpipe players, among other things. Laura, of course, handles each suitor with her customary demure softspoken charm.
Cupid, Episode 1: Beauty and the Bitches, by David Bloomberg: Simon Cowell’s new dating show is here, combining aspects of American Idol and various Bachelor-type series. Unfortunately, the women involved seem to be focusing in on copying Simon’s nastiest behavior and insults. Some of the guys deserve it, but others just seem to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
