They were supposed to pick a new Head of Household Thursday, but had other priorities. So they won't tell us who it is 'til Saturday. But we can get that info from the Web cams. Want to know who it is?
Normally, Thursday night’s episode of Big Brother 2 would include both an eviction and a new contest for Head of Household (HH). With the extra activities involving Justin’s removal, that didn’t happen this week. Instead, they will show us who the next HH is on Saturday, when the HH also reveals his/her nominations for the following Thursday’s evictions.
But those watching on the live Web cams already know the answer. You’ve probably guessed it yourself by now from the photo, above.
The contest this time was trivia – specifically, Big Brother 2 trivia. Mike was not allowed to participate, since he was HH this time. All the others were asked a series of true/false or A/B questions, with a single wrong answer eliminating a contestant. Some questions included:
Do more or less than half of the houseguests live west of the Mississippi River? (Less)
Is the kitchen stove gas or electric? (Electric)
Is Sheryl’s son’s name Jordan? (No. It’s her daughter’s name.)
Are there exactly three shelves on the memory wall? (No. Four.)
Is Mike's favorite singer Frank Sinatra or some rapper they name? (Duh. Rapper.)
Is the awning green? (No. Tan.)
Is the entertainment section the overall favorite part of the newspaper for the majority of the houseguests? (Yes.)
Is the direction you’re facing now mostly North? (No. Southwest.)
By this point, the Brat Pack was out. Nicole, Krista, and Bunky were left. The tie-breaker question asked them the total of how many times all BB2 houseguests have been married. The person who was closest without going over won (what is this, The Price Is Right?). Bunky and Nicole both guessed six. Krista guessed seven. The answer is eight (Bunky’s “marriage” doesn’t count). Krista wins HH – the Brat Pack is not exactly thrilled (could have been worse – could have been Nicole). Apparently nobody else knew that Krista had been married twice – so she had something of an unfair advantage. Ah well.
But Mike, Shannon, and Will may not have as much to be worried about as they first thought. Krista has apparently already complained about Autumn talking about her behind her back. If Nicole or Bunky had been nominated, you could bet it would be two of the Brat Pack up for nomination. But with Krista, she might just put Autumn’s head on the chopping block. Indeed, later discussions also point to the possibility of nominating Hardy. The alliances are not very tight yet, and Krista is probably the most likely to cross boundaries. Hell, she’s still talking about how great Justin is. Ugh.
But even Will is kissing up to Nicole (not to mention to Krista). He has apologized to Nicole for his behavior. Yeah, well, I don’t know about her, but I sure as hell don’t believe a word he says. I fully expect that once we see this on TV (if we do), we’ll also see Will in the Diary Room talking about how well he’s played Nicole, etc. Indeed, later that night he was already talking to Shannon and Mike about how they have to kiss up, etc. Amazing.
Mike and Nicole also talk some and both seem to be okay with each other (quite a change from her pact with Sheryl to “get Mike”) – of course, either or both could be lying. I sure hope Nicole is just playing him, because I’m pretty sure he’s just playing her.
The next few days of intrigue will be interesting…
