The Amazing Race: Thinking Smart in Week 11

What does it take to win The Amazing Race? Well, smarts is the best item, followed be maturity, and a willingness to do anything to win. What went wrong at what went right in the latest episode?

Rob and Brennan. You've made mistakes, but you have done well. Going for the Fast Forward in Episode 1 was a bad mistake, but you are in the race still. You are also in a great position to win. There are some equalizers in this game (I think the next stop is Alaska for some dog sleds and ice climbing), but you have done well at each challenge.

Frank and Margarita. This close to the end, you did VERY well in stripping yourself of your extra items. A million dollars buys a lot of undergarments and books, not to mention clothing, or an education for your daughter. To be honest I would like you to win if only for your daughter. If the money can reconcile you two, and allow you two to be proper parents, I have to give you my best.

Bill and Joe (Team Guido, Ernie and Bert). I'd never count you two out, because you have shown a lot of brains in this game. Unfortunately, they have made a big mistake, and I think it was money. And lack of money can cause time problems. That said, they are still in the race, and could win.

Drew and Kevin. What went wrong? It all came down to a bad decision. You got to the park first... but not the right position in the park. That was your big mistake. You needed to find the destination point, not the general point. I'm sorry it ended this way, but it was fair game, and you lost.

To all. None of you have a Fast Forward. All of you have tasks in front of you. My bet is that it is going to be a tight race, with a two-part episode with two detours. My intuition tells me Frank and Margarita will get to the finish line first to win the million dollar prize... but I could very well be wrong.
