It seems like the fire that threatened the celebrity edition of The Mole isn't exactly the only mystery that needs to be solved. What happened to the second cast's signature Mole duffel bags? Sources close to the production of The Mole 2: The Second Betrayal have reported that the bags provided to the cast of the reality TV series have gone missing. Not only that, the telltale green thumbprint journals have also disappeared as well. As the cast was promised their bags at the conclusion of the program, Stone Stanley and ABC had to replace the bags and inform the cast members of the theft. This is the second incident regarding the mystery series franchise. Earlier this year a fire at a post-production facility jeopardized the airing of the celebrity edition of the program hosted by sports hall of famer Ahmad Rashad. Is there a mole in The Mole? Survivor 6 rumors are already swirling before the show airs in less than a month. Among the current speculation is that reality TV veteran Daniel Lue might be the first person evicted from the game. In photos from what has been presented as the first immunity challenge, the women are carrying the immunity idol to their camp, meaning the men are the first to be eliminated. Lue was also a cast member on the first edition of MTV's Tough Enough. Also under the microscope is model Ryan Aiken. Survivornews.net is currently showing an image where seven men are together in a huddle where Aiken is missing. Did Joe Millionaire really make $19,000 in 2001? According to Mr. Millionaire himself, the answer is no. He made less. Evan Marriott, the normal Joe with the fictional fifty million in his bank account, told Entertainment Tonight he actually made closer to $12,000 to $15,000 than the amount advertised on the Fox program. According the construction worker-cum-actor-cum-model-cum-wrestler, the economic downturn following the events of September 11, 2001, had a negative impact on the construction industry in California where Marriott resides. Perhaps that's why he had so many... um... odd jobs? Entertainment Weekly has already put out their odds on who will win over Trista's heart on The Bachelorette. Michael (The Pusher) -- 100:1 Now let's be fair here for a moment. We know she likes the top four guys. What we want is a shocker and something tells me it's going to come in the form of Greg T. Among some of their more interesting comments – Michael had a "creepy look in his eyes"; Bob is "like an overstuffed burrito: You have to be in the mood for it, you need a big appetite, and it's only good for lightweights like Trista when you have folks – like a crowd of suitors – to share it with" (Ouch, that was harsh!); Greg T. "sang in Nashville once – whether it was in a recording studio or a karaoke bar, we do not know"; and, Rob is depicted "as a clingy, defensive wimp" in upcoming episodes. Time will tell for this duo. Speaking of the hit ABC show, the next edition will go back to a bachelor again. But it won’t be just any bachelor. ABC says that unlike Joe Millionaire, their newest bachelor really will have money – and be from a prominent family. They won’t say who it is yet but are guaranteeing we’ll recognize the family name. (One RNO writer was heard to say, “Oh, no, Stephen Baldwin on another reality TV show?!”) Oh, and CBS has said that since they lost a lawsuit against ABC for ABC’s production of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, they are going to create their own Bachelor knock-off. And speaking of I’m a Celebrity… (isn’t it nice how these things just segue into one another?), since ABC did come out ahead in that lawsuit, they have released a schedule for the show plus the cast. The show will air for 15 consecutive nights! Unfortunately, because they are putting it in where other shows are not, it rather jumps all over the prime time schedule. I guess they couldn’t just put it at one time where it might actually be easy for viewers to remember. The first show will follow the finale of The Bachelorette on Wednesday, February 19, at 10/9 Central. After that, we have:
And who are the “celebrities” that will be competing for your vote? There is Melissa Rivers, daughter of Joan Rivers who works on E!. (A lot of people would like to strand Joan Rivers on an island – not to bring her back, just to leave her there!) We have former MTV VJ “Downtown” Julie Brown. Joining them is Robin Leach from Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. There’s Bruce Jenner – remember him from the Olympics about 100 years ago? (OK, OK, it wasn’t quite that long ago.) And then we have some people who most people have never heard of, like Tyson Beckford (apparently a model and actor), “Stuttering” John Melendez from the Howard Stern show, and Alana Stewart – whose claim to fame is apparently that she used to be married to both George Hamilton and Rod Stewart.
