Big Brother 4, August 10-11 Live Feed Highlights: ...And Then There Was Shemp?by Sting7 -- 08/12/2003
As we ended our last look at the live feeds, Nathan had been talking to Robert about joining the Stooges’ alliance. Robert relays Nate's offer to join the Stooges, making it sound like he told Nate he was on crack or something (he said NOTHING confrontational at all). He says he wanted to ask Nate what was he thinking in the beginning? (Maybe that 8 is more than 5?) But, he said it was too late. (Robert told Jun earlier that he announced his Veto decision in the Diary Room already. Apparently, once the producers are informed of his decision, it is irrevocable.) Justin says the Elite 8 was Scott's idea. Robert asks if Justin thinks Jun will stay loyal to them til the end. Justin just says that she will have to pull her own weight – win some competitions and things. Jun asks Jee if he would rather see Erika or Jack go next. He doesn't care which. Jun thinks Jack is more against them than Erika is. In fact, Erika seems to get along with all the Stooges. Nate again tells Jack not to trust Ali. Jack says he can't seem to convince Ali that he "has her back." (Not sure why he's saying this.) He doesn't know how many times he has to say it before she believes it. Nate says the Stooges are very overconfident about the competitions. Jack agrees, though he adds that he and Erika haven't given them any reason not to be. Jack wishes Nathan was staying. Ali whines with Jun about the weight they are gaining. Nate lashes that it's their own fault. They do all the working out and eat like crap! Ali and Jun sit on the couch looking like scolded children. He seems to have hit a nerve! Erika has been (badly) imitating Nate's accent. She says its adorable. She adds there isn't much about him that isn't adorable... except he's Republican! Jee is tickling Ali! (What is that about?) Now, drinking wine in the hot tub (that always leads to trouble!). Robert told a story about driving down the Interstate at 100 mph. Jack thinks it's utter bullsh*t. He tells Ali the only thing Robert hasn't lied about is having a daughter. Then he razzes Erika, "How could you BE with him? What was WRONG with you?" Erika is laughing hysterically. Erika tells them that Robert was fired from his job for doing the show. They agree that Jee is the most likeable of the Stooges. They also agree that with Dana gone, they don't have much to talk about! Erika and Jack discuss their move. Erika will try to convince Jun to go for HOH, Jack will make his play at Jee! Erika says she thinks Jun is smart enough to know Justin is too dangerous to keep around. In fact, when Erika laid out her wishes for the final four, Jun said, "we're kind of on the same page." (Hmmm!) They think they have Ali, that would be everyone against Robert and Justin! Later, Erika seems to report that her discussion with Jun went well, but Jun wanted to talk to Jee about it. Can he be swayed? Jack also wants Erika to convince Ali to quit spending so much time with the Stooges (she seems easily swayed by them). He thinks Erika may get through to her. What happened between Jack and Ali to kill their relationship? MONDAY Jun tells Jack that he should talk to Jee. She got the impression that he would rather be her ally than enemy (if her angle was to separate Jee from the Stooges, that's good news, but Jun can talk out all four sides of her neck at the same time!). Jack and Jun agree that something strange is between Justin and Ali. Later, Jun offers to talk to Jee again herself. Robert and Justin alone (they haven't noticed how strange this is yet). Robert suddenly wants Erika out of the house in a major way. Justin gives no indication of wanting this. Oh no. There goes Jun, telling Justin about her discussions with Jack. She says Jack's like a crazy man when he's plotting. Justin laughs and then says Jack will be out before Ali. Now Robert and Jee show up. They make fun of Jack's attempt at a coup. Meanwhile, Jack and Erika are aware of the meeting in the HOH room. They don't think Jun is tattling, but they firmly believe HOH is crucial. Ali wanders by and Jack asks if she thinks they have changed their mind about Nate and maybe Jack is leaving? Ali says she doesn't think so, she overheard something about "wanting to be around so they can start playing the game." When Justin is alone in the HOH room, Nate makes one last pitch. Others have pitted them against each other. Ali has talked a lot of crap about Nate to Justin. Justin says he takes nothing Ali says at face value. Nate says he has no allegiance to anyone anymore. He repeats it a lot. Jack is vocally annoyed with Alison. She has no idea what alliance means. She keeps falling for Jun's trap over and over again. Can't she see they want her out too? Justin says when Nate pulled Ali off the block, he sealed his own fate. Nate plays it like he was loyal to Ali when they were aligned, and he could be loyal to the Stooges too! Nate appears to be getting through, and then Ali walks in to see Nate and Justin in full "buddy" mode and silently freaks out. Now that she has so vocally jettisoned Nate, if he stays, he could be against her! What will Robert and Jee say to this? Want to keep up with important events in the house?
