Big Brother 4, September 9 Live Feed Highlights Part 1: Psychotic, Not Psychicby David Bloomberg -- 09/09/2003
Once the HouseGuests get up and moving, they have their usual meaningless conversations, eat breakfast, etc. As the morning moves along, Alison asks Jun if she had talked to Rob about the speech she made the previous day in which she told Erika and Jun that she would just be voting based on how it would help her the most, etc. Jun says no, she of course didn’t say anything to Rob. Why? Well, Rob mentioned it to Alison and called it a “speech.” Alison had thought it had come off as a nice little unplanned remark, so when he called it a speech, it apparently set off alarm bells with her. Because, you know, nobody ever refers to stuff like that as a “speech,” apparently. Sheesh, this woman is paranoid. The discussion moves on to how neither woman wants Rob in the final two because he didn’t do anything to get to where he is (other than the two Veto wins, winning HOH, sticking by his alliance, etc., I guess). Next on the list of discussion topics is what the final HOH competition might be. They think Rob may be thrown off by Erika leaving (um, whatever). They think it will be an endurance contest in which they all have to keep their hand on their key. Alison plans to give a speech saying that the other two might as well let go right away because she isn’t going to let go. Jun says that if Alison gives that speech, she’ll let go and they hope Rob does as well. Suuuure he will. Of course, any discussion with Jun and Alison must eventually get around to Erika-bashing. They don’t like the way she reacted to seeing herself on TV the previous day. Both of them snit to each other than they thought Erika looked bad but she thought she looked good. Jun remarks that Erika is really going to hate her (presumably when she gets out and sees all this). OK, so she’ll join the club. After a Diary Room session, the two of them are back together again, with Jun working on some veggies. Apparently Alison had given her “diet” advice to eat less potatoes, bread, chips, and sugar, but she can eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Just call her Dr. Alison now, I guess. From there, talk turns to premonitions. Jun says she had a dream about weaing tan boots and hopes it will be the new fall fashion. Then Alison breaks a glass while washing dishes and says she knew ahead of time that she was gonna break it (er, then why didn’t you stop yourself?). Jun replies by calling her a freak. But wait, she’s not done. Jun mentions that Justin had told her about Alison having premonitions that come true. For example, Alison said Nathan would get the Veto, and then there was the time when Alison won HOH, and when Dana left, etc. Oh please. Alison chimes in that she predicted she would get the last Veto too. OK, let’s set something straight right now: Alison, you’re not psychic. You’re psychotic. Get it straight. After this discussion eventually ends, Rob, Jun, and Erika are discussing food. Jun says she never read labels – fat, calories, etc. Then Alison and Nathan taught her to watch that sort of thing. Erika says it’s not about that, it’s about not eating so much. She tells Jun she could eat anything she wants – just not five portions of it! Ouch. Later she mentions that her mother was overweight and became a Weight Watchers coach, which is how she learned about this stuff. When Jun and Erika are left alone, Erika says she really thinks she’s the one leaving this week. (Good guess.) She says she can use the week’s vacation to masturbate whenever she wants (hey, I don’t make this stuff up, so don’t get mad at me!). Jun rants that she can’t believe Alison is the one who gets to decide – all that time they tried to get her out of the house. Erika continues that she thinks Alison wants her out because Alison thinks Erika will vote for her at the end. But Erika says she probably won’t. She notes that Alison is in a bit of a predicament – she has to vote somebody out but still wants that person’s vote at the end. She wonders aloud how you manage that. Jun suggests crying. Erika asks if that works. Jun says no, not really. Heh. Erika says that Alison really thinks she has both of their votes in the end, but Erika plans to talk to the jury (as if they need priming to not vote for Alison in the end!). A bit later, Jun runs to tell Alison about their conversation. She says Erika was trying to pump her for information. Alison asks if Erika said anything about the final jury voting. Jun lies and says no. Also, Alison is apparently pissed because Jun claims Erika told her that Alison didn’t really “apply” for the show and shouldn’t win. Alison rants that she spent more time “applying” than most of them, flew out more times than anybody, etc. Jun keeps on pushing this point and making sure Alison is good and mad. Jeez, it’s easy to manipulate her. Jun also mentions that Erika said she won’t be talking “game” with Alison anymore. Alison says that’s because she told Robert she was sick of hearing it. At almost the same time, Rob tells Erika that he wants to go find out from Alison if Jun is leaving. Erika restrains him and says not to push her (which he certainly should have learned by now). Normal conversations continue as they move toward the evening… Want to keep up with important events in the house?
