Big Brother 4, September 21 Live Feed Highlights: Chit-Chat

by David Bloomberg -- 09/22/2003
It’s time once again for a new Real World/Road Rules Challenge to begin. Join Jason as he discusses what the newest challenge will entail and who will be competing for the big money prizes.

Guess what? Jun got her period this morning! Alison’s response? She wants to know when she’ll be getting hers! Isn’t that just like Alison? Nobody else can have something without her wanting it too.

Anyway, with that excitement over, they discuss things like who they liked and who they hated. Moving on, they lie around, both in the pool and out. They do some laundry. Jun loses a sock (isn’t that always the way?). Etc.

Alison takes a bath and shaves her leg, at which point she cuts herself and starts griping about it. Hey, give one of the viewers that razor and see what happens!

Later they discuss who they are looking forward to seeing. Jun says Justin and Jack. Alison says nobody. But they both agree that they still hate being in the house. Talk turns to Alison’s boyfriend, and she’s sure he hates her now. (Well, why should he be different from everybody else?) Jun tells her that she’s not separating her fears from reality. Whoa. Thank you, Dr. Phil.

The two of them briefly discuss makeup, with Alison saying the only good thing Dana did was to introduce her to the perfume she used (Dolce?). But of course, it smells better on Alison than it does on Dana. Sheesh. Alison admires, for about the thousandth time, the poster of the Internet website devoted to her. She doesn’t like one of the pictures but says she loves the Internet fans. Heh, wait ‘til you see what they think of you!

The women are allowed to see a movie – Narc. Which means the feeds go to Front of the House (FOTH).

After the movie, the two of them go outside to work out. Afterwards, they discuss pets and families. Jun doesn’t want a pet, she wants kids. Pets can’t hug her or call her mommy. Alison, now taking over the Dr. Phil role, says that she thinks Jun is just rushing the husband thing because she wants a family. Jun denies it, saying if that were the case she’d already have a husband by now.

Alison says that she is too young to have a family now, maybe in five years. Jun asks if she’ll still be with Donnie then, and Alison says maybe. (Yeah, maybe, if for some reason he takes you back after all of this!) She further says, without going into detail, that Donnie and his mom have an unhealthy relationship. Well, then he should feel right at home with you, Alison!

They talk about what they want to do with their lives. Alison says she wants to make a lot of money. Well, it’s good to have specific goals… Picking up the conversation again later, Jun says she used to be all about the 9-5 job, but now she wants freedom, so she’s thinking about opening up her own business. Alison is going to look for a job using the web. It’s interesting – it’s like Jun is already planning on what to do with the prize money while Alison seems to be planning on not winning the money.

Just before drifting off to bed, Alison says she’s worried that people will think she’s a bad person. Jun responds that it’s a bit late to worry about that. Heh.

But wait, it’s not bedtime after all. They are told to go to the Living Room. There they discuss their favorite competitions from the game and stuff like that. Alison brings up the sequester house and is ticked that they get music and stuff. Why should they get stuff that the people who are winning the game don’t get? Oh, wait, she realizes that she and Jun get the money. Oh yeah.

They talk some more about the other players. Alison says Rob and Erika wouldn’t “play the game.” Jee had anger management issues because Jun was the bread-winner. Jack turned into a psycho when he talked game, and Jun adds that he waited to long to really play and they (Alison and Jun) had already screwed up his plans by that point. Alison says only the Internet people know how they all really are, not the TV viewers. She adds (as if trying to convince herself) that Erika wasn’t as innocent as she seemed. Yeah, well, maybe not, but she sure wasn’t as bad as the two of you!

They decide that this time they’ll go to be, for real. So off they go…
