Big Brother 4, September 13 Live Feed Highlights: Your Public Is Waiting

by Sting7 -- 09/14/2003
America has spoken and a HouseGuest will get a live Internet chat with the public. One losing HouseGuest demands an explanation from their fan club. Who does Alison really want to win Part 2 of the Head of Household competition? The answers are here.

Saturday morning, Jun and Ali wake up first. Jun says she had a nightmare about the mime. He startled her a couple of times yesterday and she thought to herself, “You're gonna have nightmares,” and sure enough, she did! After a crabby wake-up call for Robert, the HouseGuests are on outside lockdown (to install the computer in the HOH room).

Lockdown’s over; the computer has highlighted Internet boards about each of them. They read them over and over, seeming to love it! The America's Choice winner will be announced in 20 minutes. Jun and Ali look at each other and run to the bathroom to primp!

The HouseGuests talk about last year's America’s Choice. Lisa had a typist, so they don't have to do it; it's just like talking. Robert says Lisa only talked to Eric last year, and that was lame (especially since they are broken up now!).

The winner is...

Robert! "Aww, man. I'm sorry guys!" he aplogizes. Ali and Jun graciously high five him (but they are inwardly seething!) and Robert goes to the Head of Household Room. Ali says the same person has never won every America's Choice before. “Is Robert that popular? What the f**k is wrong with the world?" Alison roars.

They look at each other; Jun has her classic "astonished, mouth agape" look on her face. Ali says, "Don't say it!" Jun says, "What happened to my fans? Did they not vote for me?" and they crack up. Jun wonders if it's celebrity friends tying up the voting lines. They laugh again.

Jun says she does think Robert legitimately feels bad for them. Ali says he told her he didn't want this one and hoped she or Jun would win it. Jun figured when her name faded on the plasma screen, it had to be Ali. "Why do people like him? He's sexist and he has a potty mouth!" Jun whines. Ali comments on the expression on Robert's face whenever Julie Chen asks him a question. She says it's like, "Robert?" "Du-uh?"

Jun says Robert's friends are all rich, so they probably used an autodialer like people did for Nikki McKibbin on American Idol! She doesn't buy America's Choice. Ali says Robert was GIVEN Head of Household on a silver platter from Erika. (They think she threw it?) It was so obvious. She was even walking around singing, "Seven hours till the sequester house!"

Meanwhile, Robert answers questions from the throbbing, heaving public (does he know he's a de facto America's Choice? Of course not).

  • Why do you call your daughter Mama? It means love.
  • Which HouseGuest did he have the hardest time getting along with? Dana.
  • Has he had sex in the house? No. (Who would let him? Jee?)
  • Is he taking Erika to the movie premiere? He really doesn't think so. (Wonder if the typist is using italics?)
  • Does he think the Stooges’ friendship will endure outside of the house? They will be friends for life!
  • What does he want America to know about him that has not been revealed in the house? He is always trying to improve himself, and he knows he's not perfect.
  • What will he do with his newfound fame? He will act on Spanish television.
  • Can he win Part 2 of the Head of Household competition? He knows he has what it takes to win it; he's ready!
  • What has he learned from the Big Brother house that he can take with him? That everyone has a beautiful side.
  • Which competition was his favorite and least favorite? Clambake from hell, favorite; Niagara Balls, least favorite (if they read my recaps, they'd know that!)
  • Would he consider marriage? He would, but that woman would have to knock him off his feet.
  • Has being in the Big Brother house taught him any parenting skills? No.
  • Does he consider himself a smart player? He is the smartest player in the game!
  • What moment changed his values and goals in the game? Jee's father's anniversary showed him there are things more important than the game.
  • What event in his daughter's life did he regret missing most over the summer? Starting school... really every moment with his daughter is important.
  • Which player are you most afraid of? Alison.
  • How much of what he said to Erika was just part of the game, and does he really plan to help her pay off her bills if he wins? Everything he said to Erika was sincere and he will help her pay off her bills.
  • Robert admitting his drinking problem has inspired them. What advice would he give to someone struggling? Take life moment to moment, and when you feel weak, strength will come. Somehow, someway, it always does.
  • Has he lied to anyone in the game? Dana.
  • What was the toughest part of the game for him? Winning the phone call from Elena because he couldn't hold her.
  • How has it been with no sexual contact in 3 months? He never wants to do it again and hopes 3 months will be the longest he ever has to go through
  • Was it right to leave his daughter for three months? They talked about it, and Elena has an incredible mother. He feels lucky that Natasha is such a good mom.
  • How does it feel winning the last three America’s Choices and how will Ali/Jun handle it? They probably hate him now and this is the last straw because they really wanted this one.
  • Was it worth it to be away from his daughter all summer? Only if he wins, and even then he's not sure.
  • Who besides Erika was he most attracted to? Amanda did it for him; he wishes he could have gotten to know her better.
  • How badly did he want to smack the mime? He was afraid for the mime. Ten more minutes and the mime may have been smacked!

Robert tells Ali and Jun about the questions and that they all have tons of fans. They talk about their regrets in playing the game. Robert says he has none. He says the girls are doing great with the food competition puzzles. Ali corrects him. SHE has gotten all four of them. After Robert leaves, Jun says she can't even fake being happy for him. She hates him so much (she's just getting greener by the second). She's going to "school him" in the Head of Household competition tomorrow!

Later, Robert tells Ali he said she was the best player. Ali lies that she feels like she won America’s Choice too because Robert has shared so much of it (oh, please!). She reminds him of her motto, "Love me, hate me - I'm always on your mind!"
