‘Biggest Loser 4’ Casting Call Information Revealed

NBC is looking for people to be losers – that is, participate on the fourth season of The Biggest Loser. Read on to find out when and where you can apply. Be aware, some of these start as early as Sunday the 14th!

In a recent press release, NBC has passed on two bits of information about the fourth edition of their hit Reality show, The Biggest Loser.

The first bit of news is that Caroline Rhea will return again to host the show. Former contestants always speak well of Caroline so I’m sure this year’s group will welcome her continued presence as well.

Secondly, NBC announced details of the cross-country casting tour for new contestants. The search will hit seven cities this year. Here are the dates and locations of these stops:

In the words of the press release, “The Biggest Loser is looking for outgoing, charismatic and candid individuals who are at least 18 years of age. Candidates should be ready to make their weight-loss dreams a reality, in addition to possessing personality, desire, and a competitive edge to vie for this chance of a lifetime.”

I suspect that having an interesting or unique back-story and being able to effectively present it in a concise and entertaining manner will go a long way towards improving your odds.

The producers guarantee that the first five hundred people in line will get an interview. Beyond that, I think it’s going to be an “as time permits” situation. To make it more fair, people will not be permitted to line up more than three hours before the doors open, so note those starting times in the above chart carefully.

It has also been announced that cameras, recording devices, and large bags will be not be permitted inside the casting locations. Also, expect a security search and to pass through a metal detector.

If you are interested in applying yet find those open casting locations to be inconvenient or you miss the one in your area (they didn’t give much notice, after all), there is one more option – log on to NBC.com and click on the The Biggest Loser links to apply.

Good luck to everyone!
